Warning: For those who have not seen movie raazi, the thread may contain spoilers ahead.
I also dont know, if i can make such comparitive analysis. But the similarities were so striking, that i could not restrain myself.
Similarities:
Both have a hero and heroine who are so patriotic that they put nation above themselves.
Hero and heroine love each other but not more than they do their nations.
Hero and heroine belong to opposite warring countries.
Differences:
The movie focusses on real world implications of such a scenario without any sugar coating.
Many scenarios dont lead to ideal or correct actions.
Anything or any action is correct in war though they may be ethically or morally wrong.
Ending is hearbreaking.
