Ranbir Kapoor opens up about his nicotine addiction: This doctor gave

Ranbir Kapoor has been open about his life
struggles. He opened up about
experimenting with drugs during the
promotions of Rockstar. He has also
admitted to his smoking addiction in
previous interviews and has said that he is
trying to give it up. Ranbir also revealed that
he has a problem with alcohol as it runs in
his family.
In 2012, Ranbir had said in an interview
that smoking lowers mojo and hence he has
quit and that his stamina is lower because
of smoking. Ranbir, was however not able
to quit then. When hewas dating Katrina
Kaif, the ex-couple had taken several trips to
Austria to help Ranbir kick the butt.
However, in an interview to GQ, Ranbir said
that he quit for four months, before lighting
a cigarette again last month.
In an interview to GQ, Ranbir said, "I quit
smoking for four months, then started
rolling cigarettes again just last month just
one or two a day. It's something I'm scared
of because I've been a nicotine addict since I
was 15, and it's the worst kind of addiction.
It's taken me trips to Austria, to this doctor
who gave me injections in my ears, to help
me quit smoking the first time, because I
don't think I have the willpower to give it up
on my own. But vaping isn't working for me
either you can't leave one habit for
another. Eventually it'll just come back more
ferociously.
Apart from Ranbir, Aamir Khan and Shah
Rukh Khan have also shared earlier that they
are trying to give up smoking.

Tobacco companies are genetically modifying tobacco plants to have higher amounts of nicotine and hook people faster and longer. Nicotine has a long-term negative impact on the health of the smoker as well as everyone who inhales their second-hand smoke.

I used to be a pretty addicted smoker up until I just left it all one day!! I smoke very rarely now but I know first hand how deeply addictive it is!! ESP for people with addictive oersonalities/high stress jobs, hope not only RK but SRK, quits!!! Ear injections sound painful!
