Prologue
"When did you come to know about this?" He asked looking straight into her eyes.
"He had gone for a meeting and was waiting for him late night. At nearly 2 at night, someone called on my number and informed that his car has been found." She replied determined.
"And your husband?"
"He was nowhere to be found."
"You didn't file a police complaint?" He asked again.
"I wanted to, but my brother-in-law said he will try to find him first." She replied in a choked voice.
"Where were you in between 10-11 PM that night?"
"As I said earlier, I was at my home, waiting for my husband."
"Track her phone location." He ordered and left the room.
Zoya was fed up with life. Everything seems to be going wrong for her. She hated my job, her landlord increased the rent means that she will have to leave her apartment, and now her husband has disappeared without warning. His car is gone, and no one has seen him for days. Her friends assume that he has left her to start a new life, but she couldn't believe that. Their marriage was a happy one, and her husband isn't the type of man to abandon his family. No, something must have happened to him -- she was sure of it. And will do whatever it takes to find him and bring him home.
Zoya's journey of finding her husband landed her in the crime branch. She is a suspect in a crime. She is a suspect of her husband's disappearance for who she had made the land a sky one to find him.
She is interviewed by the detective in charge of the case. The arrogant and determined, when it comes to duty Randeep Hooda but sweet and flirty off duty. Aditya immediately feels deeply attracted to Zoya. After an hour in the interview room, he released her with an apology. On an impulse, he also invited him out to dinner that night, and she accepted hesitated. But, leaving the police station, she begins to feel nervous about their dinner date. Is it because she is doing something out of her zone of going to dinner with a man who she hardly knows for the first time or is it because of going out with the detective, when she's in fact guilty of the crime he's investigating?
Is Zoya going to start a completely new life or she is guilty of something really horrible?
