Local Hero?? Emperor of the known world? A hero is a hero because of the deeds they commit irrespective of their range of achievements.
Porus stood up for his motherland when no one else did and was not a coward like Ambhi.I think this action of his amounts to a lot.
It was King Porus and his powerful elephant corps which exhausted Alexander's army to such an extent that he had to retreat.
It is a debatable topic on who won the war but I think it's a well established fact that the Battle of Hydaspes cost Alexander a lot.
No one was greater than Alexander? I beg your pardon.There were many historical icons who were equally great as Alexander if not more.Yes of coz Alexander is well known because he did what no one had done before.
Therefore Alexander was certainly great no doubt.But Porus' one action to defend his country shows his nobility and character.Yes he is not that well known in history but that doesn't make his action any less great.

Speaking of this show which we all are watching then it's a total madhouse.They can show anything which comes to their mind and we cannot predict anything about it.
