Part 32
Ishita hugged Raman more tight a while then left him and started screaming in pain ,holding her tummy . Raman make her lay and spoke caressing her forehead ,"ishita you just wait here ,I will be back soon . Let me see how much time is left for operation ".
Saying so he ran out of the room while ishita was still tossing and turning in pain . Raman went out of the room and ran towards the operation theater instructing their mothers to take care of ishita . The mothers went inside and sat on either side of ishita and started consoling her ,amma was rubbing her toes while Toshiji was caressing her forehead . Soon a nurse showed up and gave some injections to ishita and went . Raman too returned after sometimes and told that they are preparing for operation . All remain there with ishita while she was still in pain . After some time ishita was taken to OT ,she was holding Raman's hand when the nurse instructed her to leave his hands . Ishita shook her head negatively and spoke " Raman come with me ".
R- main kaise ishita ...,you go everything will be ok .
I- no I will not be able to make it without you ,please aap bhi aao.
R- ishita please...
That's when they listened the nurse ," aap jitna late karoge utha aapko takleef hogi ."
Raman nodded and told ishita to go leaving her hand ,but he noticed tears in her eyes which make him restless . He went and talked to doctor but he denied then Raman requested to let him be with her till she is conscious and will come out after she will be injected anesthesia.
The doctor agreed and take Raman inside ,ishita got happy seeing him there..He pressed his eyes to assure her and spoke " I m with you ishita ".
She smiled fully listening to him Thats when the an anesthetic injected ishita and she slowly lost her conscious . Her eyes get closed while doctor signalled Raman to go out . He nodded and went out while the operation get started .
Raman was walking to and fro while their mothers were praying for ishita and baby's wellness,their father's were sitting beside them . After much time the door got open and the nurse came out taking a baby wrapped in pink towel and spoke " congratulations its a baby girl " but you should rush her to pediatric dept ,she is very weak and is not crying . "
R- we are taking her but the other baby .
He asked worriedly ,for which she answered " its yet to come ,I just came out to instruct you to take her to NICU".
R- ok .
Saying so he took the baby from nurse and forwarded the baby to toshiji , instructing his parents to take her to NICU .They nodded and senior Bhalla's ran towards childrens doctor. They waited for some more time when the nurse returned with another baby and told same about him too ,informing its a baby boy . He gave the baby to amma and asked "Sister how is my wife ".
N- she is still unconscious ,doctor are stitching her . can't tell anything snout her state .
Saying so she left leaving a worried Raman behind ,he forwarded the baby to senior iyers and told them to go while he is staying with ishita . They nodded and rushed towards the children's section .
The doctors checked both the baby and admitted them ,they were kept in incubator with some tubes attached to their bodies . Their parents asked the doctor " sir how are the kids ".
D- they are not good ,they are premature and very weak too . we have to keep them under observation , till their breath and heartbeat became even . Toshiji and amma pleaded doctor to make the babies all right ,for which he assured that they will try their level best to make the babies fine . Appa told that he us going to check ishita ,they nodded and appa left . He reached to Ishita's room and saw her laying unconscious in bed while IV was attached to her body . Appa asked about her state for which he answered that she hadn't gain conscious . Appa caressed his hair abd spoke " don't worry kanna ,everything will be alright ,Ishu bhi theek ho jaayegi and bachche bhi ".
Raman then asked about the baby ,appa repeated everything as Doctor told . Raman held appa's hands and spoke " appa will you please be with ishita ,main bachcho ko dekh aaun ".
A- why not kanna ,you go I m here with Ishu .
Raman got up and went to NICU ,he asked for babies ,an attendant take him inside the room and he saw many newborn kids are kept there . The attendant showed him two babies and instructed Raman to only see them from far not to touch them . Raman shook his head and went near them , he saw both the babies were sleeping ,both of them were all pink while their legs were bit blue .He clicked their pics and then asked the attendant why their legs are blue ,he told that may be its because of much medicines which their mother was taking . Raman asked if it will be alright ,he nodded and told the blue marks will vanish by the passage of time . Raman asked some more questions about kids ,then brought their injections along with milk and milk bottles . He gave everything to their mothers and then went to ishita .
On the other hand ishita has gained conscious but was in very much pain ,then also she was asking about the babies only . though appa was assuring that the kids are ok but she was not believing him and was being stubborn to see them . That's when Raman reached there and saw Ishita up ,he settled beside her and asked " how r you ishita ."
I- meri chodo ,ye bolo mere bachche kahaan hain aur kaise hain .They are ok na ,unhe kuch hua to nahi .
R- no jaan ,our both the kids are ok but as they are premature and very small they are kept in incubator .
I- I wanna see them .
R- no ishita you can't meet them as you can't walk now and they can't be brought out of incubator .
I- but Raman how I will survive without seeing them ,you know na ,how special they are .
R- humm I know .
I- they are miracle kid ,they are our symbol of love ,they brought us together .
R- haan ishita I know everything but you can't meet them now ,if you want I can show them to you .
I- dikhaao jaldi dikhaao .
Raman smiled and showed the babies pics which he clicked as he very well know ishita will ask for it . She saw them and her eyes became moist with happiness ,he saw him and then saw the pics ,he too smiled and spoke " they are cute na ".
I- you cheater ,you saw them without me .
R- agar main na dekhta to tu kaise dekhti .
I- appa se pic mangwa leti but you cheated me .
R- chup kuch bhi ,chal ab so ja ,our babies are too cute they were sleeping so nicely .
Ishita glared him for which he smiled and spoke " jallu kahin ki apne bachcho de jalti hai"
I- nothing like that .
Raman then patted her till she sleeps . The days started passing like this ,Raman and their parents were having hectic days as most of their time was spend in hospital . One of their mother has to be with babies while Raman was in hospital all these days with ishita and kids .
