Chapter 6

A Night in The Mansion

Khanna escorts her to a Room "Gauriji this is your Room ..Make yourself feel free" Gauri nodding enters the washroom as she opens the showers she stood their numbly waiting for the water to take away her miseries ...The fact that the man she had loved known as her father tells her she is not his blood was too much for her to take in ..

She comes out of the shower draped in a bathrobe to find a set of clothes kept for her .The Oberoi Brothers find themselves in the hall of the mansion. As Khanna tells them Mr.Oberoi"s orders "Miss.Sharma would be staying with us " ..as Shivaay's face lits up while Rudra is discomfited by the idea of a girl living with them ..

Omkara scowls the idea of Gauri living with them doesn't settle well with him ..."Does it makes any sense that his girlfriend living in the same house where her boyfriend is living ?" he retorts ...while Shivaay glares at him smirking he asks back "Why ? does it bother you? ..You were the person who did not want to stay here in the first place?" ...Om clenches his jaw..Why doesn't he like the idea of Shivaay and Gauri being in the same house?

Seeing the dispute ..Khanna clears his throat " No Dating " He tells them sternly as All three looked at him shocked .."What?" Shivaay and Omkara almost shouts with their jaws dropped ..."Isn't Gauri and Shivaay Dating?" Rudra asks confused .

"That.." Khanna was about to tell by Shivaay pulls him by his arm to corner .."Khannaji keep it as a secret okay? ..That I and Gauri are not dating..Please pretend ..Okay" ...Khanna Frowns at him " Why? ..Sir's Order..No Dating" He tells sternly and tries to leave but is pulled back ..."in that way no one will break the rule ? got it Khannaji" he tries to convince him ..."I'll make sure of that ..Okay?..if something happens I'll give away all my properties .." he shows his puppy eyes as Khanna sighs.

"No Dating" Khanna Emphasizes again once they are back into the living room"..As Omkara qualms "isn't he doing it already ?"...as Shivaay Smirks "I am an exemption "...as Rudra laughs " You are the dangerous "...and leaves the place .

Khanna Calls out Om seeing him entering the Room "At least From Now on learn to live like an Oberoi ?'..Om scoffs at him "I was born as Omkara and Will live as Omkara"...Khanna Gives a faint smile as he asks "Then Why are you here?"...As Om lets out a laugh "Khannaji I was coerced to Live like an Oberoi "..."Why can't you like a life like an Oberoi..Why is it so hard?"..instead of answering he tells him "I am here only to know what type of a man was her father , he was the reason that he was forced to live a life without a surname ...Why did he abandoned his mother and him "...and leaves the place.

Gauri Looks around her spacious and elegant bedroom and muses back there her room was not in a quarter compared to here ..Placing her Mother's Photo in the nightstand she thinks for a while Is She correct? Her stomach starts grumbling reminding her that she is indeed hungry ...She tiptoes outside the room and enters the kitchen to find something to ravish her hunger ...She makes a face not finding anything around ..."Let's check the fridge ...Bear for sometime okay" she tells herself patting her stomach twitching her mouth ...She opens the fridge but is pulled by a lady ..precisely an old women in her 50's "Beti kya kar rahi ho? "..as Gauri look confused .."If the boys see you here they will give you a hard time ..come with me " She pulls Gauri to her quarters .."Now tell me what were you doing?"...Gauri replies fidgeting with her sleeves "I am hungry "..."That's it beti Wait let me make something for you "..Gauri smiles in return since the time she entered the first time she smiled genuinely.

Looking around the place Gauri tells "I love this place small and comfortable than the one in the mansion"...patting her forehead she asks with an embarrassed smile "What's your name? "..."I am Meena Mathur ..I am working as a maid here .." Gauri smiles in reply but frowns Seeing Khanna Barging in.. ..."Mrs.Mathur..She is our guest ..How could you bring her here" He starts chiding her as Mrs.Mathur had her head hung Looking at Gauri She apologizes "I am Sorry I never You were a Guest..I thought you were the new maid "...Gauri takes hold of her hands and gives a faint smile "No Meena maa ..It's Okay"...Whereas Meena was surprised to hear call her maa ..Seeing her expression Gauri tells hurriedly .."Sorry .if you did not like me calling maa ..when I see you it reminds me of my mother" she tells her swallowing the lump that was forming .."Oh dear .,..I would Love to "..Mrs.Mathur tells hurriedly ...

"Ladies " Khanna calls them .."Gauriji let's go" he tells her ..."Khannaji Maa cooked food for me I'll have it and come"..Khanna Frowns and leaves ...While Gauri enjoys her food with her new found maa. Coming out of the Quarters She bumps into Khanna ..."Khannaji Why were you being harsh on Meena maa?" She asks not convinced Twitching her lip..."She is a Servant..not only her everyone here should treat you with respect "..."Why is that So?"..."Sir's Command" he tells nonchalantly and walks away.

Gauri shrugs her shoulders Wondering is everyone on his command ..While on the way to her room she feels a hand on her shoulder she lours and pushes the hand away and turns to her right tieing her hand across her chest to see Shivaay looking at her with a smirk...She so wanted to wipe away that Stupid smirk ..What is with this man and smirk?

"Gauri you have to continue pretending that you are my girlfriend " he tells her showing his thirty two teeth .."Why is that So?" She asks narrowing her brows .."You see..you are the only girl in the mansion with full of boys.."..."So?"...Shivaay stutters seeing her throwing daggers ..."So..That..that..way ..you will be safe"...

Gauri's lips curves up as she says "Raise your hands up" as Shivaay Complies puzzled..Taking her hand she punches on his stomach as He yells in pain "You women ..." ..He cries in pain .."Now who needs protection? " pulling up her imaginary collar ..Rubbing her nose she leaves with a smirk..As Shivaay hops holding his stomach.

Does her day end there ..No..She runs into Omkara who holds her safely in his arms due to the sudden fall ..they were suppose to have a romantic eye lock but instead Gauri pushes him away with force cribbing "You Akdu are you blind?" She yells at him as He glares at her .."You tiny creature look forward when you are walking".."Now I am wrong right? She moves closer to him throwing her head back in anger ..."You are, were and always wrong?'.."What do you mean by that?..."How much cash did you accept this time?"..he asks her in anger ...instead of replying him She smacks his head and leaves the place .

Does her encounters ends here? A Big No ...She bumps into Rudra But She is lucky to balance on herself ..."Hi" Rudra smiles a genuine one which warmed her heart instantly she knew she could live in these place with Meena maa and Rudra by her side.."Hi" ..."urghh"Rudra tries to clear his throat What are they suppose to speak? This is getting awkward .."Rudra ..My Friend is one of your biggest fans "...Gauri initiates a conversation as Rudra chuckles "Not you?" .."No..no..Yes me too "...She stammers .."Gauri just feel free ..I know you haven't watch any of my movies "...As she smiles sheepishly ..."It ..is..not...that..I ..watch..only..Salman's movie"..She says word by word embarrassed ..Wouldn't it be ? Telling an actor She did not watch any of his movies?Won't his ego be hurt?"...Rudra chuckles seeing her face changing time to time..."Let's have a marathon then when I am free ..you are gonna watch all my movies .." ..as Gauri nods smiling...

Sleep was far away for gauri..She feels restless this is not what she is used to ..Thinking back to Khanna's command "No Dating "...She mutters to herself "I am Not Mad to Fall for this three ..One is a Playboy, Other One is a jerk..Third Rudra I like him But no way dating ..Bhavya will kill me .."She chuckles .Stirring from time to time unable to sleep ..She gets up from the bed and sleeps on the floor .the place where she is use to sleep from years..as her head hits the ground she goes into a deep slumber.
