Chapter 47- Epilogue
It was nearly 10 pm. He is wide awake looking at the stars in the moonlight searching someone who is precious to him. A small smile plaster to his lips when he sense her fragrance, drugged his senses. Her infectious smile, her scent, her love, everything was so special and mesmerized. But a second later, he felt a pang of guilt tear his heart as he realized Khushi not with him. HE LOST HER..
A tickling sound of anklet alerted his senses. Before he make any move, someone entered from the gliding door taking small small baby steps and hugged him from behind. The hollowness in his eyes is replaced by glint as he met his daughter- Khushi. Brightness in his dark life, his Khushi. Her presence make him forgot all his worries and bring smile on his face, just like her name.
''My barbie doll is still awake?'' He bend down to her height and raise her chin while she hugged her papa by his stomach..
Khushi: ''Pa..p..ai..there is gos.ss in the room..'' (She spoke in her baby voice)
Arnav: ''It's ghost princess..'' He said pinched her cheeks lovingly but the worry in her shine eyes is clearly visible.
Arnav: ''Okay come..i will see who is troubling my jaan..'' He is about to walk forward when she clutch his hand possessively signalling him not to go.
Arnav: ''Papa is there na..Come..''
Khushi: That gho..g take my papa..i.. away from..papa..i..(She spoke in her baby voice)
Arnav: ''No one can separate papa from his barbie doll..No-ONE..''
Khushi: ''Sachi..'' (Really) He nodded and took her into his strong arms. Automatically her small hand wrap around his neck and she put her head to his chest, breathing like a scared kitten.
On entering his castle, he switch on the light and brought his daughter down to feet.
Arnav: ''See..there is no-one here..''
Khushi: It's so dark..dar..k..Why you left me alone in dark..(She is on the verge of crying) You know na how much i am scared of darkness.. He knelt down and hold his ears apologetically.
ARNAVJI, ap kaha chahe gaye the hame chodke apko pata hain na hame andhere se kitna dar lagta hain..'' (Where you had gone leaving me alone..you know how much i'm scared of darkness..)
''Where you lost pa..pa..?'' (She snap her hand to his eyes bringing him back to present.)
Arnav: ''Huh..nothing..I am sorry, beta.. Papa never leave you again..'' She fist his collar when he lifted her off from the ground and sleep curdling to his chest.
Khushi: ''I love you pa..pai..'' She gave him good night kissy before dozing off to bed.
Arnav: ''Love you too, Khushi..'' He spoke with heaviness in his chest before brushing off a tiny drop of tear from the corner of his eyes.
It was his daily routine after he put khushi to sleep, he stood in the poolside staring at the stars for several hours, his eyes searches for one particular star he wanted to talk.
''I miss you..''
It's been a year for that incident, everything is still fresh in his mind. That night when he met her.
*Flashback*
Was it a mere imagination of my sunconscious? He questioned to himself, not really beliving khushi is standing right in front of him. She look normal. That means she recognize me. Yes she do believe me. The way she is gauging him, there is something in her eyes.
He is struggling with his words, not knowing where to start and where to end. Many things he wanted to say that left incomplete. He wanted to clear it out and when she is standing right in front of him, he gather no courage to speak out.
''Khushi..'' This is all he managed to utter. His voice betray him. Words failed to come out from his throat.
Arnav: ''Tum theek ho..gayi?'' (You look perfectly fine) Khushi stare into his eyes and then a mocking laugh echoed to him.
Khushi: I LOST THE BATTLE..YOU WON ARNAVJI..YOU WON..CONGRATULATIONS..
Before he deciper the meaning of her words, she carry a gun and pointed to him.
He was taken back by her sudden movement.
Arnav: ''What are you doing, khushi..''
Khushi; ''Don't worry I am not going to shot you, Mr raizada. Even if i try i cannot hurt you, You are my first and last love, how can hurt my Arnavji..'' After a plain silence, she spoke again.
''This is for me..'' Before he absorb her meaning, she change the direction and put the gun over her head.
KHUSHI!!!!!!!!!!!!! His eyes wide in horror. NOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Khushi: ''What happened? This is what you want haina? So i am fulfilling your wish.. I love my Arnavji madly and passionately, i will do everything you desire..Today your desire is not to make me mine but to see me getting tortored..to die..''
Arnav: ''Please drop the gun, khushi..please stop it..'' (He panicked)
Khuhi: ''Your game is over Arnavji. After this moment you cannot able to torture me anymore. I am no more you slave..You have used me enough. Not anymore. I am tired..very tired to breathe around cruel people who always used me for their advantage. First Rishab, then Anjali and now you.
''Khushi..'' Came a voice in unison and there appear Ananya, Anjali and Aman. They came running toward her begging her to stop. Seeing Ananya, a pang type of pain arise her chest.
Khushi: ''Relax Ananya..I am not going to snatch him..He is all yours and will remain yours..'' Her lips were trembling due to coldness she is facing.
Arnav: ''Khushi, yeh tum kya bol rahi hain..main tumse..'' (What are you speaking, khushi..I..I..
Khushi: ''Bas Arnavji..Aj tak humne kuch nahi kaha..hamesha ladte hain..pehle apne apse.. phir apne pyaar ke liye..socha ki hamara pyaar apko badal dega..par ab bas..aur nahi..aur dhoke bardash nahi hote..puri tarha tut chuke hain..Himmat nahi hain aur dhoka jhelne ki..'' (Enough Arnavji..Till now i never voice out..always keep fight..first with myself and then for my love..but now it's done..I thought my love will change you one day..i can't tolerate this anymore..i get completely destroyed..i have no strength to bear another betrayal from you..)
Her voice was reflecting pain she was stared within her.
''Khu..s..hiii..'' It was hard to take her name from his mouth..
Khushi: ''Don't take my name from your dirty mouth..your presence disgust me..''
She always consider him her God but seeing his reality, she don't believe in god anynore. Devimaiya is no more her friend. She lost faith in her. Because the same god she worshipped have destroyed her fully. Her chest was moving up and down. Her moist eyes were red due to continous crying. Today she had lost her everything..
Arnav: ''I never wanted to cheat you..bu..t..''
Khushi: ''Apne humse kabhi pyaar kiya bhi tha..? (Did you ever loved me?) She look into his eyes with her hands still holding a gun pressing against her head.
Arnav: ''I love you..I really do..'' She smile teasingly.
Khushi: What kind of love is this? Anyways I don't want to dig into history..I just call you to give you last good bye..Thank you for all the lovely moments you have shower on me..I owe you for that..I never love a man to this extend like i love you..''
Anjali: ''What are you saying Khushi..? Please drop the gun..''
Aman: ''What you are thinking about Arnav is not true..he is changed now..''
Khushi: 'Tum sab jhoote logon ne mera pyaar ka bahat istamal kar liya..ab nahi kar paoge..'' (You all people took my love for granted..but not anymore..)
Ananya: ''Arnav loves you, Khushi..please don't leave me..he loves you a lot and your daught-- (Cut by her)
Khushi: ''Ananya ko hamesha khush rakhna..hamari tarha use kabhi dhoka mat dena..'' (Take care of Ananya..never cheat on her, like me)
Arnav: ''Khushi, no.. don't do anything stupid,, Drop the gun..'' They were screaming out her name but her eyes were glued upon him. She took few heavy breathe before putting her finger to the trigger to shot herself.
Khushiii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With a super fast speed, he ran to her, grabbing her hand. She was struggling into his grip when suddenly a loud sound of shot vibrate in the air. Bullet hit her chest stabbing her skin brutally. Pain passed out from her body. Blood started flowing like ocean. She yelp his name one last time.
The force of the gun too hard that made her trip and she lost her balance. She fell from the cliff. On the exact moment, Arnav hold her hand. With all his strength, he tried to pull her up. She is hanging between the edge of death that is ready to embrace her. She look down at the river and then back at him and smile.
Fear shaken his form.
Khushi: ''Let m..e go Arn..av..vji..Mumma is waiting for me..''
Arnav: ''Don't leave my hand..Nothing happen to you..I will save you..''
Khushi: ''For whom i live? I am alone..I don't have anyone which is mine..I lost everything..I am orphan..I have no home..'' Her words shock him. He try to say something but found her hand slipping. In a sudden, she felt difficult to breathe. Her heartbeat is sinking. Her eyes blurring.
Khushi: ''My time has come..let me go..please..Ma is waiting for me..I will tell her how much i love you..but I will not tell her what you did to me..she will be sad and I can't see anyone to hate you..you know she will be so happy meeting me..'' She smile ghostly.
Arnav: ''Shut up..just shut up..You are not going anywhere..samjhi tum..I needs you khushi..''
Khushi: ''Good bye Arnavji..Always be happy..'' In no time, he felt her hand slipping more leading to go down. Before he do something to save her, she remove her hand from his and fell down on the depth of river..'' Ground slipped under his feet.
She smile looking at him while going down the depth and close her eyes.
KHUSHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He get back to present and wipe his tears through his thumb. Gkancing back at her daughter, he smile who inherit the trait of sleeping in a unique style from her mother. His eyes get teary again. Hiding his emotions deep inside, he get up from bed and look at the wall where her photo is hanging...
Arnav: ''Itni badi saza kyu di mujhe..Ek baar mujhe bolne ka mauka bhi nahi diya..Kyu??'' (Why give me such cruel punishment..not once give me a chance to express my heart out..why??)
He always told her he claimed to change the destiny but that night he failed to change the fate under his favor. He try to save her..he try to say he loves her but she was gone..Nothing can be more brutal than to see your loved one dying in front of your eyes and that too when you know you were the reason her death, his pain increases tenfold to realize he let her die, he unable to save her. On top of that, he had shot her..How can he?Arnav: ''I am sorry beta..I cannot able to save her..She is gone..Your mother left me giving me most brutal punishment of my sins..She left US..'' He said to his daughter who is sleeping peacefully with a cute smile on her face.
After Khushi's death, Anjali broke all the contacts from Arnav and left for london along with her husband, leaving him responsible for her drastic end. After mourning khushi's death, Ananya settled intto Delhi, to her mother place where Khushi had born. She spent her most of the time seeing her childhood album. There she took a small job in a office. She always wonder why god snatched her sister. Why she never came to know she is not Arnav's wife. She is Khushi's biological sister, even during her last she never came to know this truth.
Sometimes in a week or two, she came to visit chahat. But for Arnav, she always be Khushi's sister. He rarely interact with her. The guilt every day eat her live that she is the reason of drastic end of their love story.

He drew a sharp breathe and look out of window. A few drop of rain fell on his face. He look outside and saw a lady drapped into his favorite red color figure, dancing in rain crazily. Her charming smile inviting him to get lost in those eyes that always hold his attention. THOSE EYES..how can he not fall in love with her again...With his KHUSHI..
She look devine, more beautiful than fairy indeed. Sensing his heated gaze, she gave him the most cutest smile and wave him Good-Bye before telling him to take care of him and their daughter..
The END
Finally finally finally the most thriller story of mine come to an end. Sorry for making you cry..Don't beat me yaar..I know few of you are disappointed that i gave sad ending..But this is needed..Arnav don't deserve Khushi..
By reading your comments i realized how much you guys hate Ananya
For the first time i gave sad ending even i am feeling bad..but this is required.
Coming back to some doubts regarding the story-
Why Khushi not ask about her unborn? Doesn't she wanted to hold her baby? Why she not ask Arnav about a child that were growing inside her..Why she not get any chance to see her daughter, to hold her, to kiss her..Who is that unknown person who lie to Khushi in asylum? well well well..all these question will be answered in sequel..it is suspense which i will reveal in next season..I am very exited for season 2..it is going to be blast..Can't wait to post prologue..

At last..i want to thank each and every reader who support me throughout this journey. Without your moral support and appreciation, i never able to write. For the first time i try my hand on writing a suspense story..You guys are amazing give me so much love..I spent most of the sleepless nights thinking about this FF..I get so lost in this FF that i forgot all the other ongoing stories..but now i will finish the two ongoing fiction and start new stories.

One last question i wanted to ask..Khushi name going to change in next season of desire..few names i decided but not selected any of it..
She is very bold, strict, stubborn, angry type women..people even fear of her shadow..suggest another name of Khushi according to her character.. She is second form of lady Asr
