Has Bollywood become lackluster lately...? - Page 2

Personally what I like in Bollywood nowadays is that people do not run into the theatres solely on the stars acting in it. I know a few who do that but not all. Cinema is more content driven now. Even when Salman Khan did sth which people do not like him doing even his movie didn't do as well as they normally do. This is a positive change coz that motivates the people making these movies to work on the story and work on giving people what they want. Though I don't like something like Baaghi or Ek tha Tiger but a majority of them like such flicks so they are serving it.
What I don't like is the lack of good actresses. DP is a bigger disappointment than anyone coz of her sudden lazy attitude. I had more hopes from her. Anushka is still likeable coz she tries sth out of the box (I loved Philauri) but I'm not sure if it is good enough. I'm tired of seeing Alia everywhere. All the newer younger lot somehow seems too much in the face.

Around 2001-2008 was the time when I was really really excited for any bollywood film. And that time movies were better I feel.

Now I don't even get motivated to go to theatres. We need someone like SRK right now. He had that star power which I don't think anyone has right now.

No one is interesting enough now..

Only Marvel movies hold my interest now :D
