What an amazing episode! Neil Khanna is back in form and how! I have missed this side to him, the traits of a cop and just giving Kamini Kapoor a run for her money! I have been longing to see Kamini feud with Neil and Avni, to get a taste of what it is like to mess with this team and when I finally do its all coming to a premature end! Seeing what could've been only leaves you wanting more. Neil's check mate move against Kamini was too good.

So Neil comes to Avni's rescue once again, lashes out at Mitali and has Kamini arrested. The scenes that follow are bliss to AvNeil fans because you saw the traits to both Avni and Neil that you love so much. Neil has always been one to own when he is wrong and he did not hesitate to tell Avni he was wrong in taking their son from her, to admit he was blinded and couldn't see what was best for their son. The face cupping, the comforting words that he will always be there for her and their hug - <3 best of all Mitali was there to witness it all.

Prakash is father in law goals or should I say father goals? Either way you look at his character you can't help but take pride in how beautifully he has been written by both the old and new writers. Prakash tried to convince Avni to come back but she is sticking to her sacrifice little does she know that whatever Prakash says about fate and destiny is coming into play before her eyes!

Sayesha gets a box of Vidyut's belongings that have been cleared by court, in it she sees his obsession when it comes to Avni and also learns the truth about Avni's sacrifice something she passes onto Neil needless to say Neil got the shock of his life! I couldn't be more pleased with how the writers handled the reveal since Avni was not going to speak up.

Precap is what we expect Neil repenting and wanting his love back but Avni sending him back, this is who Avni is I expected nothing less of her.

Overall a must watch episode with our cast shining and writers doing full justice to the track, it is just a shame that there are only two episodes left. I don't blame the writers in the least it is not their fault, the blame solely goes to this PH and SP for giving us such a rushed ending when we could've seen this story easily continue for another week at most. This channel has no idea what they have let slip away!!

I agree! Very good episode. It is so refreshing to see ACP neil khanna is back.

Mitali-Neil conversation - Neil loves mogli but he admits that mogli will be only happy with avni, therefore he decided to give his son to avni. This might get mitali thinking (at the final episode though)- she loves neil but neil loves avni and will only be happy with avni, therefore she decided to let him go..

I wonder if the truth is not out, neil will or will not proceed with the marriage..who knows. But i think it is good to end the series with neil-avni reunion than dragging the series with third person.

Neil only proceeds because of Avni but Mitali will be the one to set him free, not what I wanted since i wanted it to be Neil who broke things off but what's done is done. I disagree, it was not the time to end the series. We deserved a far more fitting end to this show, I am not saying the show should have dragged on for months more just a week at least so we could have seen Avni and Neil have those moments of happiness after months of suffering.

Indeed mandy this is our Naamkarann and we got it and writer tried to cover it all up

But this channel and Cvs

even tody i feel Naamkarann getting over not possible cos so much to say and show

We were the fandom who had just asked few month of extension and not even a long years of extension

2 month with avni stry saesha preggy complications and not to forget kk mom revenge saga she was too good and her character also got away so soon

Kamini and avni fight would have been a trp garner too fr the channel

i so want channel to atleast give NK episode a good end rather than this rushed one

Channel if u stalking us please think abt it cos many loop holes still uncovered

Neela truth was such a major drama and that got over in one episode

Yes, same here. I aso want neil to end the relation with mitali not because of the truth, but because he realises no one can take avni place in his life..
Regarding another 1 week extention, I will certainly support this if cv really look into avni reunion and portray how they evolve from their past. But looking at past episodes, they seems like a big fan of mitali and not sure if they will proceed with happy track. We hardly get happy tracks (pre, post leap); even if they are, they are short-lived.

@mandy, i started watching naamkaram few months ago. Despite up and down tracks, i enjoyed all your well-balanced reviews. Thank you!

Thank you, Mandy, for the quick update! I was trying to save the last few episodes to watch over the weekend but I don't know if my will power will last! At my age I did not expect a show to have this kind of impact on me but I feel as if there's a deep sadness in my heart. I truly enjoyed this show even with all the ups and down in the storyline because the acting more than made up for any flaws! Can't imagine how I will fill this void! Sad very sad!

Exactly! There was so much left to be shown before the end of NK was reached. There is no way to justify such a rushed ending, the PH and MB just seemed to be in a hurry to be rid of the other not caring how it would impact the show or team. One more week would not have hurt to give this show the closure it needed. I am completely fine with Neil and Avni keep Prakash truth to themselves that won't bother me, what does bother me is the fact after months of seeing them suffer this is going to be the end they get - no happy moments, no Neil making it up to Avni, no second pregnancy and fulfilling Neela's dream, no DD and Sunheri. I mean there was so much more that could've been shown to leave fans content.

Honestly the neil avni scene was nice and that's it as well as seeing the slight show of insecurity by mitali, but the end with the truth coming out was so anti-climatic due to the rushed ending of the show. That was the reason the leap happened, and how cv's justified all the torture they did on us, yet we got such a rushed unveiling. Plus I hated how even in this episode they still didn't show neil doubting and rethinking his decision to marry mitali, and neither him showing any speck of his love for avni. Even that scene with avni in front of the family was just his mere kindess, regret, guilt as well as realisation that she is a better parent to mowgli than he can ever be, as well as showing respect for his son's mother, but not a show of love for avni that neil had for her. I have never seen this happen in any other show where the separation track and the emotions and actions displayed by the leads showed there was no love left between them, only mutual respect and formality, and that both are willing to move on from one another. That's why I hate this track with so much loathing. 😡 In this track I didn't even feel I was watching Avneil, but I felt like I was watching the old avni-neil when neil was to marry riya, but even then neil showed more attraction and concern for avni. What did you writers do to our fave couple? 😭😡

Actors act according to the script and direction ...so obviously Zain is displaying what the script requires of him.. so yes ...there is very little emotion coming through from Neil for Avni...Which is in direct contradiction where in the first two months of the post leap we saw a neil still hopelessly in love with his dead wife ...It seems with the the star of the new writers we saw an end to Neil's emotions as well. I'm finding Neil,very flat and emotionless in the last 2 weeks especially. Today after shweta left him with the wedding clothes and before Sayesha came with the truth they should have showed a monologue where he is expressing some feelings of sadness for Avni and what has happened to their love ...but they didn't give us that ...now their reunion seems like it's going to happen because he realised avnis sacrifice and becuase mithali cancelled the wedding. A more fitting end to Avneils great love story would have been Neil discovering that he still loves Avni very much and can't live without her and him cancelling the wedding before Sayesha tells him the truth ..Then he would have taken Avni back purely due to their great love ...that they shared and made them soul mates 😊
