My first reason is same as yours, juhi. In the hangover of PYPCK, I thought to give a try to PV as this is period drama.
Promos were quite good and Mrinal as a warrior that caught the eye.
So far, so good and last 2-3 minutes of 3rd episode are still my favourite 😊

I have two reasons!!!!

One is that it is finite!!!!

I cannot risk watching a show otherwise!!!!

Secondly it has two experienced actors!!!!

I am tired of newcomers in every show just because they come cheap!!!!!

And the story seemed good with a strong heroine and a caring hero!!!!

For Sonarika and Ashish. I like both of them.
PV is an entertaining serial and has excellent sets and costumes.
Plus, I had never heard of the real Prithvi Vallabh before, and after watching the first few epiosdes on YT, I got intrigued.

I loved watching the show for it's writing, characters and actors.. The historical fiction keeping it Interesting to imagine how our rulers were and the times have evolved.. 😳
It was very gripping and I watched all the episodes in a very short span of time. Ashish and Sonarika are wonderful in their portrayal.. 👏 Everyone has been holding me glued to the screen...

But in the recent episodes I somehow feel the writing is lost in keeping the characters balanced.. It appears to be a very biased writing losing the stability and interest of conflicts between the characters.. The story is now going one sided making the other side weak...

Mrinal's character is receiving the lower end of the deal with nothing for me to look forward to in watching their conflict of emotions. I'd have loved to see the distrust factor playing between Prithvi and Mrinal. Instead her character is made to play a broken record of unforgiving and unforgettable..

Last friday I was very keenly looking forward to the episodes. But the last weekend episodes made me disappointed. The writing is not gripping to keep the interest for both characters intact. The physical balance is completely siding towards Prithvi leaving no room for exploring both sides POV.

Sindhu killed Singhdhat and Prithvi forgave him easily because he's family. Would it have been easy for him to forgive Mrinal if she had killed him tricking Prithvi? Would love to see Mrinal getting good dialogues for her side of justification instead of same boring "Only enmity between Malwa and Manyakhet".. She's getting too repetitive and Prithvi also will not have much to say if she's stuck with the same dialogue..

Thanks for making this post :D

My reasons are similar to yours. Firstly I started watching this drama because of Ashish Sharma. I liked his acting since Gunahon Ke Devta. He is one of the most amazing actors TV has got and it is a pleasure to watch him. IMO the true definition of an actor whose "eyes do the talking" is him!

Secondly, the dialogues! Hats off to the dialogue writer 👏.

Thirdly, the cast members other than the leads. Honestly this show has an ensemble cast. Each character depicts their role very well. Special mention to: Jitin Gulati (I am a fan now) and Piyali Munshi! I also really like Ashnoor and Sheezan jodi as well as Swati Rajput who is sweet too.

Another name I would like to mention is Sonarika! ⭐️My gosh this girl has a killer presence. When her and Ashish are in one frame, sparks do truly fly!

It is nice to see for once the man being the understanding and patient one whereas the girl is fiery, which is rarely seen in TV now.

1. Started watching the show for two reasons; one that it marks Sonarika's comeback and the second that it is a histro-fiction.
2. I'm still glued to it because of the plot. The storyline is amazing. I've left almost every show that I'd started watching in the past except for two but PV has kept me interested even now.
3. The musical touch. I love the music. It's soothing and beautiful.
4. The cast. I'm Sonarikas fan since Mahadev days. But I'm thoroughly impressed with Ashish. I had seen him in SKR but I couldn't put up with that show. But as Prithvi he has won me over like none other. Even the supporting cast is brilliant. So far I have no complaints with regards to the cast.
5. Characterization. Prithvi's character will always remain close to my heart. This was something I've always been looking for. I can relate with Prithvi. And I love that.

There are many more reasons like amazing vfx, lovely dialogues, etc. I think I love everything about this show.❤️

promos were interesting so i decided to give it a shot. i was not here following any actor so just started watching
was very impressed first day itself with prithvis character . wow the eyes n smile just speak, dont even need to say anything. very poetic, flowing, full of life character

we also have a strong female character in mrinal. other characters are also very well written. very good casting & very good acting by all actors

no dragging storyline infact i feel they should have elaborated some scenes with proper continuity

dialogues prithvis specially they are so philosophical

Thought of giving it a chance as anirudh pathak is the writer and it also had ashish Sharma who is a good actor in lead.promo was good. So far story is written well with little disappontments.most Of the questionable things script is answering in its own way. I am a person who watch a show if I feel the heart of the script is in right place and the show logically reveals it.so far pv is on the right track.
