Boundaries set by Zara and adhered to by Kabir

I really like the character Kabir...

I like that he adheres to the boundaries set by Zara. Zara initialized the separate sleeping and he slept on the couch. He offered to sleep on the floor in Kashmir and only when Zara allowed it he slept on the bed, yes, amidst the parda, but yet again he adhered to her boundary. Even on the final night in Kashmir, I am betting (though they didn't show it) that Zara was the one to remove the "nylon ki dori" since she organized the romantic set up of the room. Again he didn't question it. He went along with her boundary. She came out of the washroom with that sexy nightdress but besides oogling, he didn't do a thing. Again adhering to her boundaries. When she initialized the hand caress, he still didn't do a thing except watch her. And when he became aware of her intentions, that is when he took the next step and caressed her hand as well.

I love that he lets her set boundaries and also set the pace of the marriage.

Kabeer likes Zara, he agreed with her in many things, and changed some of his habits, but never once he tried to change her or force her to accept his nazriyas, or try to come close to her, 😳 he's a man of his words. but he has a heart too. that's why when he realized Zara's attempts to come close to him, he took a step towards her, and shows her that he too is willing to end the distance between them.

Beware Kabir may spoil all your husband expectation by rising it to a whole new level. 😈 aise sohar aksar asani se milte nahi. 🤣

Well said. The thing is that kabeer just went with the flow. Whatever was decided he just went along. Ok we had some initial plotting and planning but after they got married and he came in the room he was ready to accept her as his wife. But zara started accusing him blah blah blah...

Even Adnan stated in an IV that kabeer never hated zara he just didn' agree with her view.

And what u said about husbands understanding their wives views. I agree, respect goes a long, give it to receive it 😊

I think it paints a wonderful picture of the two...as viewers we are always treated to male leads who are arrogant and think so highly of themselves...who try to force the female lead to fall in love with them...but maulvi sahab stands apart.

It is quite true that they aren't bad people but just two people with different views...Kabir can come across as too strict and traditional, but likewise Zara can also come across as argumentative and too bold. But I love that Kabir moves along when she makes a move, and it is clear he accepts what she is doing for him...😳😳

He is definitely quite the gentleman to his wife...but he isn't shy to accept what she offers him either!
