They both were standing in the room
Even though it was filled with people and lights it seemed like the beam of light was only on them and the entire room was dark. There was continuous chattering of people but nothing reached their ears.
Zoya kept staring at him with a tiny pinch of guilt on her face, she felt determined..humne jo kiya thik kiya...she thought but somewhere her heart was not agreeing with her.
Aditya on the other hand was numb. By now he should have been used to it...betrayal... but still he was shocked and hurt. No, she was not pooja, not even his friend but at least a confidant...only she knew his pain and yet she did this!
'Sir apko koi galat phehmi hogeyi hai'' insisted Arjun 'pooja bhabi bhaia ki jaan thi aur aap keh rahe hai...''
'Dekhiye humara kehna nahi hai yeh!' snapped the police officer 'har sabut yehi keh rahi hai aur inka bhi yahi kehna hai'' and the man pointed his finger at Zoya

If there was someone else in Aditya's place he would have pleaded the inspector but no this was Aditya Hooda, he was stiff indeed he was smirking.
'le chalo inko'' ordered the officer and the policemen started to take him away. Aditya was walking pass Zoya but he stopped just beside her and very softly said to her 'Thank you'' there was a slight tremble in his voice. Zoya abruptly looked at him and their eyes met. He kept staring at her but she slowly lowered her eyes and looked away
They took him away and Arjun ran behind them
Zoya kept her hand on her heart...hum mein itne bechaini kyun ho rahi hai humne thik kiya na..she asked herself and immediately Mahi approached her 'Ha Zoya tumne bilkul thik kiya hum pehle se hi tumhe keh rahe the na ki Aditya hooda thik nahi hai...I am glad ki finally tumne humari baat par bishwas karke uske khilaf police ko bol diya...I am proud of you Zoya'' and she hugged her giving her vicious smile. Zoya freed her from Mahi's hug and went near the window. Mahi went away from there

Zoya turned around 'Arjun?' she was puzzled
Tumne kaha ki bhaia ne accident kar vaya??'' Arjun was furious 'arei pagal wo marte the pooja bhabi par''
'Dekhiye Arjun hum samajh sakte hai apki upar kiya guzaar rahi hai lekin sab kuch Aditya ki taraf isshara kar rahe hain aur itne din o mein hum nei Aditya ka jo gussa dekha hai woh gusse mein kuch bhi kar sakte hai...''
'Isiliye tumne socha ki unho ne gusse mein accident karva diya?? Jo insaan har waqt tumhare saat tha tumhe haar musibaat se bachaya unko hi tumne jail bhej diya?? Arei tumhe jail se bachane wala bhi wahi the'' screamed Arjun and one by one he ranted all the incidents that how Adi took her to the hospital, signed a blank cheque to get her out of the jail and everything else
Zoya was taken aback. She kept staring at Arjun with teary eyes
"Zoya muje nahi pata kis binha par tumne yeh kiya hai ya phir kaun se sabot milei tum lekin itna main bolta hu tumhe... Tumne uss insaan ko aaj musibat mein dala hai jisne tumhari har musibaat ko dur kiya hai'' saying that Arjun left leaving behind a girl who kneeled down on the ground and was numb.
