Part 1
Dance teacher asks Naina if she is ready? She is called upon and Swati-Preeti wishes her luck. Teacher says she is going to dance and not trek the Mt. Everest. Preeti says one day Naina will do that too. Naina puts the music on and starts to dance. Teacher is not impressed. She says you call this semi-classical dance? She asks Kavya to show Naina the steps. Kavya does the steps. Teacher and other students clap for her. Teacher taunts Naina. Preeti tells Naina that this is first occasion of semi-classical dance and teacher is showing off. Naina decides to give it a second shot. Naina ends up tripping on her feet. Other students laugh on her. Teacher sends her off saying this is not her forte. She says this competition is in Delhi and its about the schools reputation. Naina cant participate. Naina walks off. Teacher calls Payal.
Its the radio station. Sameer reaches there and says need to meet Mr. A K Khanna. He is shown the way. Sameer comes across a recording room. He enters. He finds Mr. Mehta, Mr. Khannas assistant. Sameer introduces himself. Mehta says yes, Khanna ji mentioned about you. Sameer says Amrita informed me to meet Mr. AK Khanna. Mr. Mehta tells Deepak to show Sameer the way around and asks Sameer to wait for Khanna ji. Sameer is tapping the desk with an ink pen. He remembers his and Nainas secret signals using the pen. He smiles.
Narrator-- That day i was out of the house to make a fresh beginning of my life. It was a new beginning coz what i saw at the radio station was new for me. I couldnt control my excitement. Wanted to share it with Naina. I had decided to make my time in Delhi memorable. It was to be memorable but so much, couldnt imagine.
Sameer starts to feel bored waiting. Sameer is told by Mr. Mehta to type a script in 10 minutes without mistake. Sameer is shocked. Mr. Mehta says why expressionless? Dont tell me, you dont know how to type.
Sameer is struggling what to do with the typewriter.
Narrator-- That day all my heropanti was lost. Another lady comes and helped. Felt like i was told to fly a rocket. In fact that would have been easier than this.
Sameer struggles. Mr. Mehta asks for the script and finds Sameer has typed only one line. Mr. Mehta taunts him. Sameer is silent. Mr. Mehta says dunno what Khanna thought to send him here. He gives the script to Deepak to type.
Narrator-- Sameer told me that the type writer speed reminded him of Karma film where Sameer was Anupam Kher and Deepak was firing bullets at him. It was Karma in Delhi and Sholay in Ahmedabad. I was like Basanti that day who was kidnapped. Only difference, my goal was to reach Delhi. How long could i only dream of meeting Sameer?
Naina wipes her face and is given a hanky. She turns and imagines Sameer. BG-Bin tere sanam. Naina turns away as Sameer keeps stopping her way. She imagines him holding her hand. Then, him asking her to dance with him. Naina blushes and goes to swing and Sameer pushes her. Naina wipes off her face from the daydreams. Naina chides herself for failing to meet Sameer. Pandit-Munna call her bhabhi and say dun say that. They motivate her to do her all so she can go to Delhi. Preeti-Swati say Naina will have to convince the principal. Naina says cant learn overnight. Munna-Pandit try to enact the steps. Naina smiles. All remind her of her chance to meet Sameer and go to Delhi. Munna-Pandit says show to the principal that love can teach u how to dance too.
Mehta gets a call from Kumar Sanu about airing an episode about Kishore Kumar. Sameer is amazed. Deepak says even film stars come here. Mehta says Kumar Sanu is going to be here. He is told to go to Record Room and to take out Kishore Kumars old records. Deepak takes him there. Sameer is looking around. Right then there is a call. Its for Sameer. Amrita congratulates him for his job. She inquires about his experience of meeting Khanna. Sameer says looking around for records. Deepak feels threatened about Sameers closeness with Amrita and in turn Khanna. He exchanges Kishore Kumars records.
Part 2
Sameer says my heart says... Amrita says what? Sameer says i feel like telling Naina i got a job. When Naina finds out Kumar Sanu will be here today, she will be thrilled. Amrita says tell her. Sameer says not now, once i have my first salary then. Amrita says, so like Salman Khan of Maine Pyaar Kiya. Sameer says will take Kumar Sanus autograph and send to Naina. Right then Mehta comes and cuts the call. He asks for Kishore Kumars recording. Sameer gives him what all he could find and says any other Kishore Kumars recording is not available. Mehta says how can that be? Saw it yday night. He says people like you only know how to waste time. Deepak smirks. Mehta blames Sameer for misplacing Kishore Kumars live recording. And tells him to get out.
Part 3
Mehta asks Deepak to get the recording at all costs. Deepak takes it out from where he was hiding it. Mehta praises him.
Narrator -- One thing was true. Hearing such songs would be rare. Look how we have remix and remakes of old songs. Now their quality. One thing was wrong. Sameer surely had taste for music. Sameer gave him right answer. Deepak gives ..Sameer plays the guitar. All gather to see him.
Sameer says i know what hard work is and i know what music is. Mehta says also sure u know ur way out. Get out. Sameer is walking out. Khanna watches him leave and smiles.
Meanwhile, Naina is trying to do the steps. Preeti asks her to do properly. Naina starts to feel frustrated. She sits down. Preeti asks her to keep trying. Naina says dun understand. Chachaji comes and says get me the radio, Kumar Sanus interview is coming. Bela knocks on the door and asks why locked? Preeti says was changing. Bela asks for radio as Chachaji wants to hear Kumar Sanus song. The radio is put on and Khanna ji says Kumar Sanu is not able to come unfortunately. Naina feels disappointed. Khanna ji says that we have someone to play Kumar Sanus tunes to you. Sameer comes live on air and says love is a small word. Only those who love someone, can express it. Sameer plays Kumar Sanus tunes. Naina is mesmerized.
Precap --- Naina is dancing her way all around at home and schoo. Preeti looks around and smiles. Teacher doesnt like Nainas dance again and throws scale at her feet.
