A rural village in Tamil Nadu, Mr Vishwanathan Iyer is the head of the village.
People here are with modern mindset except in one thing, they marry their girls within the village itself so that their property will stay within the village itself. If anyone break this rule they would be killed.

Vishwanath Iyer and Madhavi Iyer have 2 daughters Vandita Iyer and Ishita Iyer. Vandita is already married to Balachandran Iyer and have a son Shravan Iyer. They live in the Iyer house itself. Mihika is Mr Iyer's brother's daughter. Ishita and Mihika are of same age, they are doing their college, which is in their village itself.

Raman Kumar Bhalla, an orphan from Delhi. He was brought up in Smile Children's Home. With his dedication and hardwork, he completed his schooling with high marks and got admission in a college in Tamil Nadu.

First day of college, Ishu and Mihika were going to college when a gang of seniors stopped them.

Senior: Hey you two come here!!

That's when another one in the gang noticed Ishu and said

Another Senior: Aap Ishita haina.. aap jaayiye.!

Ishita and Mihika walked away, while the whole gang looked at him wanting to know what just transpired.

A S: Kya?? She is Village Cheif's daughter. Kisi ko pata chala ki humne usse rag kiya they will just chop of our head off.

From then all maintained a gap from Ishita and Mihika, even the faculties were scared of them.

Raman joined the college late as his accommodation wasn't ready. He was the last one to join the class after one month and a half.

His first day, he reached the class early and was sitting in the first bench reading something from his book. That's when he heard some cute sound, "chil!! chil!!" from the veranda. His attention was now towards the sound.

He saw someone's hair flying in the wind through the window, he tried to see her face but couldn't. That's when a soothing sound of someone laughing, his heart fluttered. He was more eagerly trying to see her face. The "chil!! chil!!" sound of her anklets were nearing the door. His eyes were fixed on the door.

He saw a girl dressed in pink and grey dawani (half saree), her face was covered with her long silky black hair, in which he so wanted to hide his face. She removed those hair strands that were disturbing his view, her rose petal like lips and those chocolate brown almond eyes his heart skipped a beat. She was talking something animatedly to her friend. Some cute expressions were playing on her face, unknown to himself a smile lingered his lips.

The bell rang breaking his trance, soon all the students entered the class. Class too began. It was lunch break and he was going towards the canteen to have something as he was hell hungry, when some boys stopped him.

Raghu: Oye tu kaun hai.. new admission??

Raman: Ji

Raghu: Oh.. toh ek welcome toh banta haina..

Others hooted in yes!!

Raghu: Naam kya hai tera??

Raman : Ra.. Raman

Raghu: Hmm Raman.. So Raman tumhe dance karna aata haina.. ek sensuous striping dance karke jaavo..

Raman was scared. He was facing something like this for the first time. He started sweating.

Raman: Please mujhe jaane dijiye.. please..

Raghu: Aisa kaise chalega.. humne tume sabse simple task diya aur woh bhi tum nahi kar rahe ho

Another boy: Raghu he must be feeling shy.. Lets help him..

And started to unbutton his shirt. Raman was continuously pleading him to leave him.

Ishu and Mihku who were passing by that heard someone's pleading and walked towards that sound. They saw this and marched towards the gang. Ishu glared at the boys there, seeing Ishu all went away scared.

Raman thanked Ishu profusely for saving him. She just smiled at him and went away with Mihika. Her smile did something in him, he felt butterflies dancing in his tummy. He was standing their smiling like a fool looking in the direction were Ishu and Mihika went.

Ishu was smiling all the way back home. Mihika saw this and asked her

Mika: Mein kabse notice kar raha hum.. aisa kyun has rahe ho??

Ishu *composing herself*: Kuch nahi bas aisa hii

Mika: Ishu sach bolo.. kya huwa?? Tume meri kasam

Ishu: Kuch nahi Miku mein bas uss ladke ke baare mein soch rahi dhii.. kitna handsome haina, aur utna innocent bhii. I think I fell for him, you know love at first sight.. *she sighed*

Mika was shocked to hear this from her sister.

Mika: Ishu are you listening to yourself. Agar periappa ko pata chala toh maar dalegii.. kisi ghaav wale ne suna hotha toh!!

She was panicking, seeing this Ishu started laughing.

Ishu: Miku relax I was just kidding yaar..

Mika: Ishu aisa mazak bhi maat karo yaar.. abhi mujhe heart attack aane se baal baal bach gaya..

But somewhere deep down both Mihika and Ishita knew it wasn't just a prank, Ishu had some feelings for Raman.

From then onwards IshRa became good friends. But non of the villagers except Mihika knew about their friendship. Raman was head over heels in love with her. (He knew nothing about this village culture.) Ishu was also in love with him, it was clearly seen in her behaviour but didn't mouth it, she didn't want to express it and put Raman's life in danger. Mihika was aware of her sister's love, at first she was scared but then decided to be her sister's support, she wanted her sister to be happy.

Four years passed, only 2 months were left for their final exams. Raman decided to propose Ishu. He asked her to come to the store room after the class. She somewhere knew what was going to happen, she was nervous.

She opened the store room door, lots of petals rained on her, she was in an aww. It was dark inside, her heart was beating as it will come out any second. She called him, "Raman.. tum kaha ho??" Soon the lights were turned on, she could see Raman sitting on his knees with a rose in his hand.

"The very second I saw for the first time I feel for you. Your smile, your animated talks, your soft spoken nature every thing attracted me more. I don't know how to propose my love nor could I afford a grand confession like in movies all I could say is I Love You from the bottom of my heart. I can't promise of all those luxuries, but still I wanna be selfish, I want you for all myself. Ishita will you be mine, are you ready to be a part of this orphan's life."

Tears fell of from her eyes hearing his confession, she threw herself over him and hugged him as tight as possible and whispered,

"I love you too Raman. But this relation has no life Raman. If my appa comes to know about this he will kill you. I can live being away from you but can't live if something happens to you. Please mujhe bhool jao aur aapni zindagi mein aage bado.."

"Please Ishu.. meri zindagi hi tum ho.. I can't even think being away from you. Please don't do this to you."

Ishu hugged him and showered kisses all over his face.

Soon the days passed, IshRa relationship was also going smoothly with Mihika's support. Their exams finished and both IshRa passed with flying colours. Raman got job in Mumbai. He went to Mumbai promising Ishu to come back soon.

In the meanwhile Mr Iyer fixed Ishu's marriage with Subbu. Ishu and Mihika tried alot to stop it but couldn't do anything against Mr Iyer. Ishu was crying continuously cursing her fate. Mihika somehow informed Raman about the same.

Raman came back the very next day. Ishu and Mihika in pretext of going to temple left the house to meet him. As soon as Ishu saw Raman she ran to him and threw herself on him. She was crying her heart out. He was rubbing her back trying to console her. After composing herself, Ishu parted herself from him.

"Raman, come lets go from here. We will go to somewhere far away from here. Please.." she said crying.

Raman cupped her face, "Ishu baccha calm down. Are you listening to yourself? I will talk to your appa. I'm sure he will agree for our marriage."

Mihika: Raman Ishu sach keh rahi hai. Agar periappa ko pata chal gaya toh woh app logon ko maar dalegi.. Please aap log yahan chali jaavo..

Ishu and Mihika somehow convinced Raman for the same. Raman called his friend Mihir and asked his to arrange for their marriage and asked Ishu to come to same place taking all her certificates and strictly advised her to not take her phone or any money.

Ishu and Mihika happily went back home. Next day, early morning Ishu eloped with Raman. Mihir was waiting for them outside the village in a car.

And they got married. Mr Iyer got to know about the same and villagers along with Mr Iyer left the village in search of IshRa. Mrs Iyer and Mihika tried to stop them but they couldn't stop the angry Mr Iyer.

On the otherside, Mihir left after wishing the newlywed a happy married life.

Ishu: Raman mujhe bhook lagi hai. Lets eat something

Raman: Haan chalo

But before they could move they were thrown into a car. The car stopped at plain ground. The goons threw IshRa out of the car, they were shocked to see Mr Iyer and the villagers. Ishu hid herself behind Raman and said "Appa"

Mr Iyer: Maar dalo inn dono ko.. It should be an example for everyone. After this no one should dare to do this.

Ishu: Appa.. please hame jaane doh.. I promise I won't ever come back. Please

Mr Iyer: Appa.. Kaun appa.. The moment you stepped out of the house you are dead for me. Now I have only one daughter and that is Vandu. *to his goons* kya dekh rahe ho.. maar dalo inn dono ko..

Ishu: Aapko maarna haina.. mujhe maar dalo.. please Raman ko chod doh..

Raman: No sir.. mujhe maaro.. Ishita ko chodijiye

Ishu: Nahi Raman.. Appa mujhe maar doh..

Subbu: Ohh kya scene hai boss.. Agar Ishita ki jaan usi mein hai toh pehle usko maarte hai..

And subbu marched towards Raman with a sword. Ishu saw this and ran towards him. Goons stopped her. She was trying to release her from their hold and was continuously shouting Raman!!

Subbu was about to stab Raman. Ishu shouted RAMAN!! and fainted.

24 hours later

She found herself on the hospital bed. She recalled everything and shouted Raman and threw everything by her side. Her eyes fell on the knife kept along with the fruits and took it.

"Raman bhi mujhe chodke chali gayii.. abh mein kisi keliye jeeungii.. Raman mein bhi aapke paas aa rahi hum.. Jaahan aap ho woh hi mere liye jannat hai.."

She was about to slit her wrist when Raman rushed into her cabin. He saw this and snatched the knife and threw it away. Ishu saw Raman and hugged him tight complaining for leaving her alone.

Raman: Mein tumhare liye medicines lene gayi dhii.. aur kuch nahi.. I'm with you jaan.. *and pecked her temple*

Ishu: Par mujhe kya huwa Raman.. hum yahan kaise!? Woh subbu!! Aapko chot nahi lagi na.

Raman: Nahi jaan.. mein teekh hum.. Correct time me police aagaya aur hume save kiyaa..

Ishu: Police..?

Raman: Mihika ne police ko inform kiyaa and they reached on time.. and then when I turned towards you my jaan was lying there unconscious. So I took you to hospital.

Ishu again hugged Raman and kissed him throughout his face. He also let her have way with him because she was scared of loosing him, her life.. she had seen her life getting destroyed in front her eyes.

Then Raman held her hands and said
"Adhoori Saans Thi Dhadkan Adhoori Thi Adhooren Ham
Magar Ab Chaand Poora Hain Falak Pe Aur Ab Pooren Hain Ham"
