FIRST SHOT

Phoolon per jaise padti barish ki bocchar hai
Chamakne ko jaise phool bhi tayyar hai
Usi tarah mera dil bhi bekarar hai
Tu hi bata main kyun na kahu ki, Itni si baat hai Mujhe tumse pyaar hai...

"Raman, aapka naashta table pe hai... jaldi aaiye nhi toh thanda ho jayega."
Ishita called out from dinning room.

Setting the table, she fitted herself on couch and surveyed through her phone, reading the messages.

Though she wanted to see her notification but her fingers halted on the facebook icon.

She scrolled through it and stopped on her ex colleague's post. Her colleague, carrying colorful Easter eggs with a teddy bear and a winsome smile on her face.

Scrolling through it more she even caught sight of far relatives and her brother in a Frame at haridwar for 'ganga darshan'.

Raising her head, she roamed her sight on clock. She knew that Raman is going to take apparently 10 minutes.

With the 2 designer glasses and matching napkins, she clicked.

*beep*

His phone alerted

Getting up from the study table, Raman lay eyes on his phone.

It was her facebook post
"Husband's favorite breakfast, served with love"
With dinning table snap

He set himself on his dinning seat and again set his vision on her facebook post.
15 people were already joined in their breakfast, on facebook. And 3 out of them even asked for the recipe.

"Agar sabko bata diya ho ki mujhse kitna pyaar krti ho, toh main krlun naashta?"
He said ungraciously

"Gussa kyun ho rhe ho? Ek to itni mehnat se naashta banaya aur aap ho ki..."
She complained childishly.

"Gussa nhi kar rha hun, ishita... khair chodo, Kal conference ke liye Shimla jaana hai. Iss baar couple invite hai. Taiyaari kar Lena"

She moved her lips to reply gimp but his phone buzzed.
His call didn't ended even after he finished eating.

Raman, keeping his phone in between his ear and shoulder washed his hands while Ishita took their bags.
Both exited their home together.

He, keeping his phone on hold for a second said a listened yet unheard 'see you'.

Running out of time he didn't waited for her reply and left in his car for office. Ishita also left in her car for dance classes.

*beep*

Her phone beeped. It was his comment on her post.

"Perfect start to the day with wife's love and the 'lassi' was awesome."

"Par Raman ko toh lassi bilkul Bhi Acchi nhi lgi thi na"
Ishita was just left smiling on this show off relationship.

'Teen taal ki gunjti thaap' and her feet hitting floor with the same speed. It was 'Kathak' only in which she always lost herself and her sorrows.

Well! There were no complaints in her 15 years marriage and their 13 year old son, aditya was there but for his studies, he was sent to the hostel.

How she took out her 'ghungroo' from old truck and she again joined 'khatak' classes after the gap of 14 years.

Ishita was wiping her sweat off from her forehead when the senior 'guru ji' came and said
"Ishita, tum bahot accha kr rhi ho. Iss baare ke Vaarshik utsav ke troop ko tum lead krogi."

He blessed her when she touched his feets.

She caught her phone in her palms and updated
'Selected as the lead dancerrr... super excited'

*toot*...*toot*...*toot*

Her phone ringed. Her lips captured a smile as her eyes read the caller name

"Ishita, ek shawl aur ek jacket rakh Lena Shimla mein Thodi thand hai"
Ishita answering in 'Haan' and 'hmm' hunged.

He didn't even mentioned about her selection as a lead dancer. Yeah, he wrote on facebook
'So proud of you my love'

Next morning was in 'Shimla'. Firstly flying to Chandigarh and then swirling roads to their destination. 15 years back, they both visited 'Shimla' for their honeymoon.

This place has saved their memory forever.
That time they both came on the backseat of jeep. That time they both talked by snuggling in each other and lost in themselves.

Today they have their car and each other's company but talks were not.

Evening, Raman keeping his discharged phone left for meeting. Ishita also kept her phone there and sat on the window.

Bored of looking out, she picked her phone and left the place.

Lost in herself, ishita didn't noticed that she has bought his discharged phone. That phone, that is going to join the broken wires of their relationship.
