Ishita was crying hugging her grandfather while tears were flowing continuously from his eyes also. Throughout the life he hated his son for a mistake, even throw him out of his life and today he came to know that he lost his son. He was looking at nowhere and crying and suddenly screamed-vishwa. Screaming this he fell on the floor and said -itni badi saza kyun de di kanna, apne appa ko aise kaise chod kar chala gaya tu. He shouted and cried hiding his face in his palm.
Ishita who was crying sat on the floor to console him. Raman was coming to console dadu but stopped seeing ishita doing the same.
Raman -ruk jaa raman, aaj tera kaam nahi hai, today only ishita can console them. Coz their pain r same, if they have lost their son, ishita has also lost their parent. Aaj tera kaam nahi hai. He thought and sat beside dadi only.
Ishita sat on the floor and said -dadu, please don't cry. Aap aise royenge toh dadi ko kaun sambhalega. She needs u, please Aap thik rahiye. She said crying and he hugged her and said -sorry kanna, tu itni takleef mein thi and I didn't even realised. I was go on troubling u, tujhe ghar mein ghoosne tak nahi diya. I am sorry kanna, really sorry.
Ishita -please don't say sorry dadu, it's not ur fault. Aap nahi jaante the ki sach kya hai.its not ur fault. She was saying when doctor came. Raman took him to dadi, he checked her and said -shock ki wajah se behosh ho gayi hai. She will be fine soon. I am giving injection. He said and gave medicine to dadi. Then on raman's insistence he checked dadu also. His bp was also high. Doctor gave him also medicine and then went.
Slowly time was passing, dadu and ishita was sitting silently exhausted of crying waiting for dadi to gain consciousness.
Soon dadi too gained consciousness, she too hugged ishita and cried bitterly for her son. She even accused her husband for not letting her meet her son ever, even she couldn't see him for the last time.she was accusing him and crying while he was also standing and listening to her accusation as he knows that she is right. Soon she start become restless and dadu hugged her tight and said -I am sorry, main kabhi nahi chaha tha ki aisa ho. Agar woh tumhara beta tha toh mera bhi tha, I too wanted to forgive him but woh wapas hi nahi aaya. Yaa phir I took much long to decide to forgive him. I don't know how to console u for ur loss but I am very sorry that I couldn't do anything for our son. He said crying and both hugged each other crying over their loss. Ishita was also crying standing in the corner when dadi called her and the trio hugged. Raman smiled seeing their reunion and went out wiping his tears giving them their privacy.
He reached his home and said to his mother -i did what u wanted maa, Maine ishita ko uske ghar pahuncha diya, not only this, not only this maine unko mila bhi diya. U wanted it son to go less to iyer's, from now onwards I will give more time to u and less to them. Happy?? He asked while his eyes were teary.
Toshiji -teri aankhon mein aansu dekh kar main kaise khush ho sakti hoon, kya hua hai puttar, why u r crying. Unn madrasiyon ne kuch kiya kya??
Raman -nahi maa, yeh aansu unke kaaran nahi unke liye hai. U know why ishita came here??
Toshiji nodded in no.
Raman -coz r parent r no more. She lost them in an accident. He said making toshiji shocked.
Toshiji -kya, ishita puttar ke amma -appa,
Raman nodded and said -haan maa, that poor girl was already in so much pain and I was go on troubling her.
Toshiji-tabhi, I saw her crying sitting alone in the garden many times, I even asked the reason but she never told me anything. Bechari, choti si bachchi par kitna bada atyachaar kar diya matarani ne. She was saying when Raman said -and on top of that I was troubling her, main kitna bura hoon naa maa.
Toshiji caressed his hair and said -nahi puttar, tujhe sach nahi pata tha, aur jab tujhe pata chala, u helped her. Teri galti nahi hai, but ab joh tu karna chahta hai naa, yeh teri galti hai. She said making him look at her with confused eyes.
Raman -aise mauke par, jab tere dadu-dadi ne apna beta khoya hai, teri dost ishita ne apne parent khote hai, u want to leave them alone. Yeh galat hai puttar, this time they need u most. Go to them and help them to overcome this loss, Main keh rahi hoon. U go to them and be with them till they feel good. She said making Raman understand. He nodded and went back.
He entered the house and saw dadu-dadi showering their love on ishita. Raman smiled seeing this and said -this is good, all forget me after getting this angrez granddaughter. I am also ur grandson, meri value khatam.
Dadu -dadi smiled hearing this and called him also. Raman ran to them and hugged dadu-dadi tight.
Raman -i know dadu, dadi, the loss is too much but all i can do is to love both of u ,hope my love will lessen some of ur pain.
Dadi-tum toh hamari zindagi ki roshni ho kanna, agar tum nahi hote toh shayad aaj bhi hume hamari ishita kanna nahi milti. Thank u so much kanna.
Raman -apne kanna ko thank u, bad manners dadi. He said smiling making all smile.
Dadu-I think we should go and thank ur parent to keeping ishu in ur house.
Raman -iski koi zarurat nahi hai dadu.
Dadu -no kanna, it's needed. He said and soon all went to bhallas.toshiji welcomed them wholeheartedly and they thanked her for their help. Toshiji jusy smiled and said -ishita hai hi itni pyaari bachchi ki uske liye kuch bhi karne ka mann kare. Dukh toh mujhe iss baat ka hai ki meri ghar ki chidiya ab aapke ghar mein chahkegi aur mera ghar shaant ho jayega. She said and ishita hugged her tight and said -main aapke ghar aayi rahungi aunty to trouble u.
Toshiji hugged her tight and said -ur most welcome puttar.
Soon ishita went to her grandparent's house leaving raman's house. Though bhallas were sad because of Ishita's going but was happy for her.
Next day, dadu called raman and told him to bring form for ishita as they want her to resume her studies. She dropped in first year of MBBS, Raman brought the forms and soon ishita applied for the entrance exam. She gave the entrance exams and was waiting for her results.
Time started passing and ishita got admission in medical college. Her college was next to raman college, so he took her with himself and drop her back in the evening.
Everything was settled in both the houses, even iyers and bhallas have became good friends. Ishra life is also settled, both spend lots of time with each other and their love for each other was also increased manifolds but Raman was reluctant to propose and ishita was waiting for his proposal and because of this their love story wasn't moving ahead.
One evening, Raman came back and saw his parent were getting ready.
Raman -aap log Kahin jaa rahen hai kya??
Toshiji -aap log nahi hum log, we r going to iyer house, aaj ishita ka birthday hai naa, ussi ki party hai.
Raman -ishita ka birthday, she didn't told me about this. Aur aise bina gift ke kaise jaa sakte hai.
Toshiji -i have taken gift for her, a very lovely suit. Tu bas ready ho jaa. She said and Raman went to change halfheartedly. He wanted to gift something nice to her but he don't know about her birthday so couldn't take anything for her. He was getting angry that why she didn't tell him about her birthday but then thought it's his mistake that he never asked. Lost in his thoughts, he got ready and went to party with his parent.
Soon all were in party, ishita cut the cake and fed everyone ,all fed her cake too and blessed her while her eyes were searching for raman. She look around and saw him standing on the door looking at her smiling. She excused herself from the guests and went to raman.
She walked towards him and said -tum ander nahi aaye. She said and fed him cake.
Raman -happy birthday ishita, sorry tumhare liye koi gift nahi laa paaya, I don't know today is ur birthday,aur tumne bhi toh mujhe bataya nahi kuch.he said and fed her cake too.
Ishita -maine tumhe issliye kuch nahi bataya kyunki mujhe kuch special gift chahiye tumse raman, aur tumhe dena bhi hoga. She said smiling.
Raman -achcha bolo kya chahiye, I will bring it for u.
Ishita looked around and said -yahan nahi, baahar chalo. She said holding his hand and took him outside.
Soon they were in the garden away from the crowd.
Raman -bolo kya chahti ho mujhse.
Ishita look at him and said -i want ur surname, Raman. she said making Raman shocked.
