I have watched all episodes till now only on TV and I didn't start with BP because I'm a fan of Harshad or Jennifer..Long running promos aired on Colors and media bytes by cast & crew made me curious to check how they are going to start and execute this concept & story post death of respective spouses for taking that second chances in life with a talented star cast.😊 And it was clear this show wasn't meant for universal audiences as not many in India can be comfortable to sit and watch daily a concept of two spouses of dead cheating spouses later getting united by love. 😳 (Movies, youtube shows and webseries end faster so these kind of concepts get welcomed more in those platforms targeted at specific niche audience)
The moment Colors announced 9pm as BP time slot, people like me were taken aback on how they can fumble here? 🤔 9pm is dinner or catching up time in most urban Indian families and when they sit before TV either in drawing room or bedroom they won't be alone but accompanied by some family member including small kids and senior citizens, and most families don't prefer tuning to TV concepts daily that they aren't comfortable to watch or discuss with small kids. So 10.30 pm may be ideal time for BP kind of concept if writers are repeatedly going to dwell on what went wrong in respective marriages of leads for their spouses indulging in cheating if any, and then with Aditya and Zoya being shown at two ends with extreme levels in behavior where Aditya is forcefully intimidating Zoya with blinded revenge streak. 😳
Anyhow it may take 4-6 weeks for a daily soap to establish with right kind of target audience at a given time slot and for its key characters to grow gradually on people after that initial launch hype, fans frenzy dies down. Anyhow IPL starts this weekend... so lets wait and watch.
