With repeating topics and spam posts by few members opening posts on the same thing!
Hence why i have kinda stopped writing much in some topics... due to messiness and some foul language/bashing used. Criticism is okay but depends how you go about it.
And i can't keep repeating the same in EVERY topic, about read the rules, or stop spamming. Members should already know this.
Sure it's nice the forum is busy at times but its not when its repeating same posts
Regarding Regular Updates & Videos:Please be patient and avoid opening topics asking for Written updates since our updaters(who hv volunteered) will be posting the update within few hours after the episode is aired . No Videos will be provided on this forum due to copyright issues ..So wait for the official Zee TV website to upload the original video online ..No pirated videos will be allowed here
Posting articles from other sites: India-Forums does not allow articles from rival sites like TellyChakkar.com or other competitive websites ,so please DO NOT COPY/PASTE articles from these sites (However u can just post the link to these articles without pasting the whole content). Copy/Pasting articles from supported sites like TOI , DNA ,Hindustan times , Mid-day or from our very own TellyBuzz are permitted. In case you have any doubt regarding whether this article from a particular website can be posted or not,you can just pm the Dev team thats me and ask your query before posting the article ..
No posting of videos carrying other Website/Forum tags: In case a member wants to post a video of SBS/SBB segment or new promo ,then please make sure the video is uploaded by official Zee tv channel or official star(ABP)/Aaj Tak news channels without any website tags or else the post will b edited and the video carrying any other website tag will be deleted by the Dev team...
No Creating repetitive topics: Many times it has come to the attention of the DT that members create topics, that have already been discussed. For example, if you see that someone has already opened a post on today's SBS or SBB segment, there is absolutely no need to create a separate topic for them as anything related to the segment can be all discussed in one thread only which will also keep the forum clean ... So before posting any article or new topic or segment updates ,check the first 2-3 pages and only if there are no similar topics on that article or segment ,then open a separate thread to post it ..Any topics which are found repitative or just have a one liner content will be moved to a common Episode discussion thread ..
No Spamming/Chatting: Many times Posts go till 20-25 pages of discussion but when one goes through the posts ,half of the pages are filled with Chit-chatting among the members using only emoticons which are not really related to the show .These are considered as spamming and is against IF rules .So plss make sure such type of spamming is avoided .Chatting is allowed only in Appreciation threads or Chat club post but not elsewhere but even in Appreciation threads make sure there are no sarcastic comments made on other show couples ...If the discussion is really interesting then we won't mind it going for even 50 pages,but if we find that a post has turned into a personal chit-chat thread after a certain point , then we will close it with a note.
No Typing in caps: Typing entire post in capital letters is NOT permitted on India-Forums as its considered shouting. So plss dont open posts writing everything in capital or huge fonts
Constructive Criticism is allowed but strictly NO Bashing :Many times members have put forward these queires like which words come under constructive criticism and what comes under bashing..let me give you some examples...
- Personal attacks/Name calling, using foul language and making derogatory comments against any particular member or character or actor comes under Bashing which is not allowed but disagreeing with someone's POV and stating your own POV with a proper justification and decent language comes under constructive criticism which is allowed.
- Usage of extreme foul or filthy languages or curse words (like the B or F word) will not be tolerated and whoever breaks this rule will face a severe action. But usage of words like "what the hell","Mahaan", Kabab mein haddi","Selfish" "Idiot , "Jerk" , Spineless" ,"dumb" , "stupid" ,"moron" can be allowed for characters (not actors) depending on the context in which we are using these words...Such words can be used for constructive criticism provided we know how to use it without hurting the sentiments of any fan group..There is a thin line between constructive criticism of a character and direct character bashing...try to maintain that thin line in your discussions.
