Mishal back on TV !!!!!

After ruling television for quite some time, actor and business magnate Mishal Raheja went missing in action and made headlines for his Hollywood debut last year as he released his first music single featuring him. But the actor is returning to his first love with an already hit Ekta Kapoor show Kumkum Bhagya as a parallel lead and audiences will get to see him play a flashy, flamboyant, Punjabi singer and musician, as opposed to his rather mysterious and deep role as Dutta Bhau in Laagi Tujhse Lagan. It will be Mishal's first with Balaji, and he will be playing a character that we generally don't get to see in a daily soap. While everyone is excited to know more about Mishal's role in the show, we got some candid information from the horse's mouth that would make you more eager to watch the show.

While speaking about his role in Kumkum Bhagya, Mishal revealed, "It is very exciting, because this role is something that you don't get to see on TV. I usually opt for such roles; something unusual, something rare. So it gets a chance to stand out compared to the other characters. So this role is of a Punjabi boy, who has been in London for many years and he is a successful musician, singer a Punjabi rockstar of course. And my entry is with the heroine of the show, which is probably going to play a clash between the current hero-heroine forming a love triangle. Sriti Jha aka Pragya and Shabbir Ahluwalia aka Abhi's love story is loved by all. So Mishal joining in will be forming a love triangle and we are sure people can't wait to find out more.

Generally, the entrant acts as the negative lead, who tries to separate the protagonists. So we asked Mishal if his role is positive or negative. He stated, "It is a positive character. Par aage jaake pata nahi (don't know about the future). Yeh Zee TV aur Ekta Ma'am ke haathon mein hai (it depends on Zee TV and Ekta Ma'am). He further added, "But even if it turns negative, then I think it will be awesome because if negative characters work, then they are superb. Well, we are eager to know whether he will be seen in a negative avatar or a positive avatar.

Kumkum Bhagya is the second leading show in BARC's TRP list. So joining it would have been a fantastic move in his career. When we quizzed him about it, he said, "Yes! Yes! Sure! Which actor wouldn't want to be in the number 2 show in India? In the beginning, only I will be seen by the whole India. Every time we start a show, there is a tension whether it will work or not. So there is no tension this time because it is already a hit. I think it's a boon for me. Mishal's comeback will surely rock the show and reach new heights.

The actor will be coming back after a gap, so we further asked him about it. He specifically mentioned that the gap is only of one year and two months. He further added, "I have been constantly working for past 10 long years and I take my breaks, I take my gaps because when your character is liked by the viewers and the population of the country and you make an impact over them. It becomes difficult for them to get over it, so you have to stay away for a while so that they forget and accept you in the new avatar. We are really gushing over Mishal's thought. Aren't you?

Talking about the risk of joining a show in the middle of its runtime, he said, "Ye to risk sab ko lena parta hai (Everyone has to take this risk). And I am gonna take it. We are hoping Mishal's risk gives him a lot of rewards in return.

Moreover, the actor will be collaborating with Zee TV in a lead role for the first time and he is very excited about it. "Damn good! They have a lot of unique youth based and leading shows. It has the most updated and contemporary colour palette, he exclaimed.
