Many movies with everything going bad around them still do business on first day becoz of stars associated with them. Tubelight, besharam, befikre are the examples. Cast a new comer in these films and let them make the same amount of money in their initial days.

still a film's success or failure has nothing to do with a star...coming to Tiger shroff itself...his heropanti looked like a DUD but became a HIT..how, it was packaged well...and made people flock into theatres. Rhea Singh made a valid point that films made stars not the other way round but its the general norm to worship stars as they make films and so on...

coming to besharam, tubelight, befikre...look at them they were all packaged well and people went to watch them but when the content was disappointing they didn't turn up. Film Stars are 'sold' in the name of content yet its the content that sells in the end.

Every one knew that Baaghi 2 would open well, almost everyone but giving Tiger Shroff a credit of like a 'GOD' seems both illogical and stupid beyond a limit. heck even the ugly jacqueline's item number has contributed to the opening, no matter how people hates it.

Tiger fills a gap that is clearly present in today's Bollywood, that of the larger than life action hero. He doesn't need to be a good actor, only a competent one. His action and dancing skills, and his physique (both men and women are oohing and ahhing) will do the rest.

Just serves as a reminder that there is room for every kind of film star in the industry.
