Whatever happened with Ashni in this story, i feel this is the most heart breaking for every reader. At one time, they are not able to meet each other. Then the life circles and they had to face each other, again with hidden tears.
Next, they had to go through the turmoil of hurt : hurt that no one is responsible other than fate. The time is cruel, fate is much cruel and reality is the worst form of cruelty.Fate plays an important role in everyone's life...people who are destined to be together...fate brings them together😊...here too Ashni have been brought together but in circumstances no one ever wanted and expected😳
When they were only feeling of a lonely life, and going on with it, a big blow of Nidhi's fiance breaks Ashu and he is crying for the first time after the decision of their separation. I liked him saying to her pic that she has moved on and he must be happy with the fact bcos he always wanted her to be happy but why he is not able to smile and his heart is hurt deep down. I loved this bcos this is realty : One can say millions of words that he or she will be happy to see the other happy with someone else, but this is impossible and hurt the most !I really loved to read this Shona... this is so true na... the heart knows what we want...although we may say so many different things😊
I loved how you have twisted the turns of Aman knowing of Nidhi's little past that is not told to him.
This can be the turning point of the tale and he can play the mediator to see the things clear. And he can even judge Ashu much more clearer than Cv, and who knows he also says that he will be happy for Nidhi if she gets her love ! Everyone was relieved as he was back home after so many days...Nidhi asked both CV and DB to to take rest and she went to prepare dinner. All of them had dinner together and after that everyone went to their respective rooms. CV kept on thinking about his stay in the hospital... The way Dr Ashutosh was so professional and not even for once did he let their personal differences come between them. He had been so worried for Nidhi when he came to know that he was shifted to KGH...but all his fears were false...both Nidhi and Dr Ashutosh fulfilled their promise that they made to him. He then had flashbacks of happiness that he saw on the face of his princess when she was with him or Nidhi(J).
He felt sorry for the first time for what he did... to his daughter...to that person whom she loved... was he really wrong? Did he commit a sin unknowingly? Whether thinking about his daughter's future wrong... he always wanted to see her happy...whether she would have been happy with him in future? Is love everything...how would she face the society if she married him...such marriages are not accepted in our society easily...and what future does she have with him? A person who is 18 years older to her...whether he would have been able to give her everything what a wife expects from her husband? All such questions were making him uncomfortable as he was in a dilemma seeing the change in Nidhi after she separated from him.
His heart which only wants his daughter to be happy but at the same time its scared of the societal norms...it didn't allow him to accept their love. Then he also thought about Aman...who is about to marry Nidhi... he is looking for a happy life ahead with her...whether he is the right person for her? Whether she would be able to accept him as her life partner forgetting her past? Whether her past would ever come between them? If Aman comes to know about them...what would happen? And what if he comes to know about it after their marriage? Whether their relation be able to withstand the truth and the storm it carries with it? This thought made him really anxious and he got up and sat on his bed. He felt as if all his fears would come true and he would be the only one responsible for that...and no one else. He couldn't sleep properly that night...he recollected the way Aman and Nidhi got engaged...
Flashback
Nidhi had to attend a conference in Chandigarh and CV offered to go with her as his childhood friend too stayed there. He thought of meeting him and spending some good time with him after so many years. Both of them went to Chandigarh and Nidhi attended the conference and CV went to meet his friend. Aman his son...he too was there and was about to leave for a surgery in some time. His friend told him that they were looking for a suitable girl for Aman and that he was looking for a girl who could understand him and the pressures of his profession well. Then he remembered that CV had a daughter who was doing her MBBS when they last had a conversation. CV told him about Nidhi and on being asked to do so...he showed him her photograph.
His friend was very impressed with her photograph and he showed it to Aman too who was just about to leave. He was in a hurry but his father asked him to just have a look at it... Aman saw it and for a few seconds he became still...he was lost in her beauty and innocence...her smile. His smile on looking at her photograph made them realize that he liked her. They wanted them to meet once and for that CV asked Nidhi to come there after the conference in the evening. Aman too promised to be back home after the surgery so that they could meet.
Nidhi came there although she didn't want to do so...she wasn't interested in meeting and socializing these days at all...but as always she couldn't say no to CV and she came there. Aman and Nidhi met and CV hadn't told her why he had asked her to come there. Nidhi was a bit reserved and she just answered what she was asked to... Aman was very happy to meet her but he couldn't realize in that one meeting what she had been through...he thought that she was usually a silent person. Also such conferences make you really tired with their tight schedules. He agreed to the marriage alliance and Nidhi was shocked to know everything...she immediately got up and left from there and went back to the hotel. CV understood everything but he didn't show anything there and he handled the situation and after some time left their home.
When he reached the hotel...he saw Nidhi standing near the window ...she was very upset today...
CV: tum wahan se kyun chali aayi?
Nidhi: kya aap nahi jaante ki main wahan se kyun aa gayi? Aap sab jaante the...fir bhi aap ne...kyun Baba...kyun kiya aapne aisa?
CV: kya kiya hai aisa maine? Har pita ka sapna hota hai ki wo apni beti ko khush dekhe...uska kanyadaan kare... kya mujhe yeh adhikaar nahi?
Nidhi: adhikaar hai Baba...sab adhikaar hai...lekin us adhikaar ke saath kya aapka farz nahi ki aap apni beti ki khushi kisme hai yeh bhi soche?
CV: main jaanta hu tu kya kehna chahti hai... main bahut achhe se jaanta hu ki teri khushi kisme hai... Aman bahut achha ladka hai...tujhe bahut khush rakhega... tune meri har baat maani hai...aur aaj bhi main chahta hu kit u meri yeh meri baat maan le...aakhri baar... Iske baad main tujhe apni koi baat manne ko nahi kahunga...aur main na nahi sunna chahta...kyunki maine unse vaada kiya hai...agar tu chahti hai ki tere Baba ka sir unke saamne jhuk jaye...to jot ere mann mein aaye wohi kar... Main kuchh nahi kahunga...
Nidhi (with tears flowing down her face): aisa to main kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakti...lekin main kya karu Baba...main kisi aur ke saath...kaise? (after few seconds)... theek hai Baba...jaisa aap chahte hain wo hi hoga...main shaadi karungi...lekin mere dil mein sirf ek hi insaan rahenge...doosra koi nahi... main aapki baat maanungi...par mera dil aapki baat manne ko majboor nahi hai...
CV: mujhe poora vishwas hai ki Aman tere dil mein apne liye jagah bana hi lega... tu use apne dil mein aane se rok nahi payegi...wo hai hi bahut achha... use dekhkar hi maine use pehchaan liya tha...
Nidhi: aap ne Aman ko ek nazar mein pehchaan liya aur Dr Ashutosh...unhe aap itne waqt mein bhi nahi pehchaan paye?
CV: is baare mein main koi baat nahi karna chahta...
After this he talked to DB and she asked him to get them engaged asap and not wait for her...she was to reach home after few days from Banaras...and she wanted him to fix this alliance soon...this was very important for her future. CV did as DB advised and he got them engaged two days later. He left for Kanpur after that and Nidhi stayed in Chandigarh for two more days till the conference ended. While on his way back home...he met with that accident.
Flashback ends....
CV was now worried for Aman and Nidhi...and he felt as if his guilt was killing him from inside...he thought of meeting Ashu once... he wanted to thank him for his support in difficult times...also he knew Ashu deserves answers to many questions which must be crowding his mind right now... CV knew he is a nice man...a strict professional...a very decent person...but he wasn't suitable for Nidhi...and he had his own reasons for not liking him...but he couldn't deny the fact that he was true to his words. He too must be shattered now that he knew about the engagement...he would meet him and talk to him. Atleast that would relieve him of his guilt to some extent...he was not sure how would he react but still he had to meet him once.
