Bhalla House:

Raman and Param walk in. Raman silently walks towards the dining table where the rest of his family is sitting. He sits down quietly still lost in his thought while he automatically starts playing with the food on his plate. Param also comes. He looks at Simmi and rolls his eyes. Everyone is patiently waiting for Raman to say if he found Pihu or not and what happened at Iyer house. After a while Raman's silence becomes unbearable for everyone sitting around the table...

Toshi: Raman puttar. Ki hoya? Pihu wahan Ishita ke pas hai kya?

Raman comes back to reality. He looks at Toshi and nods in agreement.

Simmi: Yeh Ishita na kabhi sudharne walon mein se nahin hai. Behla phusla ke le gai na Pihu ko. Ab wahan uske kaan bhar rahi hogi. Bhai maine apse kitni baar kaha hai Pihu ke bhalai ke liye usse us aurat se door rakha hoga humein.

Raman gives Simmi an annoyed look and rolls his eyes.

Raman: Pihu wahan apne marzi se gai hai. Use koi wahan le kar nahin gaya tha.

Mihika: Us Ishita ne aapse kuch bhi kaha aur aap man gaye? Main use bachpan se janti hoon. Sach jo bhi ho apni baat manwana woh khub janti hai.

Raman gets all the more irritated.

Raman: Ishita ne kuch kaha hi nahin. Pihu ne bataya ki use Ishita ke pas jana tha. Aur usne hum mein se kisi ko isliye nahin bataya kyunki use lagta hai ki humein pata chalta toh hum use wahan jane se rokte.

Simmi: Acchi patti padha rakhi hai us Ishita ne Pihu ko. Aur aap Pihu ke bina wapas kyun aa gaye? Agar Ishita ne Pihu ko nahi bulaya tha toh Pihu abhi tak wahan kya kar rahi hai? Aapke sath bheja kyun nahin Pihu ko?

Raman was trying hard to keep his cool but hearing all this he loses his temper and starts yelling at everyone at the table.

Raman: Bas karo aap sab. Maine kaha na Pihu wahan apni marzi se gai hai. Main use le ke nahin aya kyunki woh wahan khana kha rahi hai. Aap sab toh apne duniya mein mast rehte ko. Kisi ka is bat pe dhayan nahi gaya ki jab se mein hospital se aya aur Miss Ishita yahan se Mani ke yahan chali gai Pihu theek se khana kha hi nahi rahi thi. Abhi itne dinon ke bad wahan Miss Ishita ke sath theek se kha toh rahi hai, has bol rahi hai. Aise mein kaise le ata use? Aur aap log akele nahin ho is ghar mein jisse Pihu ki chinta hai. Mujhe aap sab se zada chinta hai uski aur uski khushiyon ki. Aur use wahan koi galat patti nahin padhayega kyunki use akela nahi choda hai maine. Adi hai uske sath. Uska dinner ho jayega toh le ayeha use ghar. Aur ek baat aap log sab samajh lo. Miss Ishita hamare sath jaise bhi games khele woh Pihu ke sath kabhi kuch galat nahi karegi. Main nahin janta unka yeh kya aur kaisa connection hai but koi nasamajh bhi unhein dekh ke samajh jayega ki unka rishta kitna gehra aur mazboot hai. Uski humse koi bhi problem ho woh uska gussa Pihu pe nahin nikali gi. Jab Pihu ko councillor ke pas le gaya tha usne bhi yahin kaha tha ki Ishita ka Pihu ke pas rehna Pihu ke liye accha hai. Aur mein apni beti ke sath koi compromise nahin karunga.

Raman pushes his plate of food away gets up angrily and turns to go towards his room.

Toshi: Oye Raman. Khana aise chod ke kyun ja raha hai? Khana kha le puttar.

Raman: Sabki bakwaas batein sunke pet bhar gaya mera. Aap log kha lo. Pihu aa jaye toh use mere room mein bhej dena. Aur koi usse kuch na hi kahe isi mein sab ki bhalai hai. Meri beti hai main use sambhal lunga.

Raman walks away. Simmi, Param and Mihika look very annoyed seeing Raman's reaction. Romi looks at them with a smirk on his face.

Romi: Bhai ko koi insaan yaad rahein na rahein unke dil ke jazbaat toh mitai nahin mit sakte na. Aaj bhi bhai bhabhi ke khilaf bakwaas sun nahi sakte.

Simmi: Romi bakwas mat kar. Woh Pihu ke liye bol rahe the.

Romi: Haha! Apne man ko yeh jhooth bolke behla lo aap log. Par sach jo hai woh hai. Pihu ke bahane hi sahi unhone aap sab ko bhabhi ke khilaf ulta seedha bolne se chup kara hi diya. Unke sari yaadein toh mitai ja sakti hai but dil ke jazbaton ko kaise mitaya ja sakta hai. Pyaar aise hi pal bhar mein gayab nahin hota khas kar jab do log ek dusare ki liye bane ho.

Simmi also stops eating pushes her plate away . She stand up to go to her room.

Toshi: Oye ab tu kyun ja rahi hai khana adhoora chod ke?

Simmi: Romi ki bakwaas sunke mera bhi pet bhar gaya.

Toshi: Yeh sab kya ho raha hai is ghar me? Jaane kiski nazar lag gai hai is ghar ki khushiyon ko.

Romi: Ghar ki khushiyon ko dhakke marke ghar ke bahar nikal diya aap sab ne toh ab kaisi khushi ki ummeed kar rahe ho aap log.

Neelu: Abhi thodi der pehle aap sab mujhpe chilla rahe the ki aaj khane mein late ho gaya. Aur ab sab khana chod ke ja rahe hain!

Romi: Arey Neelu main hoon na. Aaj toh khushi ke mare meri bhook double ho gai hai. Dekh Ruhi aur Aliya ka bhi wahin haal he. Jinhonne choda hai na khana unka hissa bhi hum saaf kar denge!!

Mihika and Param also get up and leave. Romi looks at then and gives an evil smile.

Romi thinks yeh toh shuruaat hai. Aap bhai-bhabhi ko kitna bhi bhai se door karne ki koshish kar lo woh ek dusare ke dil se kabhi door nahin ho payenge. Aaj toh bus khana gale se nahi utar raha aap sab ke. Agar aap sab ke hosh na uda diye na maine toh mera bhi naam Romi Bhalla nahin.

Raman's bedroom:

Raman walks into his room and he is still fuming with anger. He sees some files lying on the table and throws them on the floor to let his frustration out.

Raman keeps walking around his room. He isn't able to understand why he felt so angry. Why did it upset him so much when his family were saying negative things about Ishita? He himself threw Ishita out of his house a few hours ago then why is what Simmi said about Ishita bothering him so much?

Raman finally frustrated sits on his bed and closes his eyes. Immediately he starts recollecting seeing Ishita during the Lohri celebrations.

Raman opens his eyes and looks around.

He feels disappointed seeing no one is in his room. Raman wonders why he is feeling sad? Was he hoping to see Ishita there?

Raman thinks about Ishita and Pihu...

He wonders what kind of bond is it that these two share? How is it that Pihu is happiest when she is with Ishita? What relation did they have in the past that their bond today is so strong? How is it that a stranger has a stronger bond with my daughter than me?

He also thinks why can't he stop thinking about Ishita? Is he drawn towards Ishita because Ishita is so close to Pihu? He thinks that must be the reason- after all Raman and Ishita ka koi Rishta toh hai nahin.

He thinks No matter what kind of a person Ishita is he will always be thankful to her for bringing Pihu back into his life. If it hadn't been for Ishita he would have still not remembered that he had a daughter.

Iyer house:

Everyone at the Ayer's house is enjoying dinner. Most importantly everyone is happy seeing Ishita happy. Ishita after many days is smiling happily as she watches Adi and Pihu eat. Amma is also happy because for a short time Ishita has forgotten all her worries.

Pihu: Ishimaa not fair. Aap humein khilaye ja rahi ho but humein aapko theek se khilane nahin de rahi ho.

Adi: Haan Ishimaa. Aap aaj kal apna bilkul khayal nahin rakh rahi ho. Itna fatal snake poision se aapke health pe asar hua hoga. Papa ko pata chalega na ki aap apna bilkul khayal nahin rakh rahi toh woh aapko itna datenge...

Ishita: Adi aisa kuch nahi hai beta. Maine dekho kitna Sara kha liya hai tum dono ko khilane ke chakkar mein

Madhavi: ok ab dinner ke baad pysum kaun khayega?

Pihu: hum sab khayenge.

Madhavi: chalo phir kitchen se sabke liye pysum le ke aate hai.

Madhavi and Pihu go towards the kitchen.

Ishita sadly looks on and thinks if the day will ever come again when Raman scolds her out of concern for her health. She knows its not his fault that he doesn't remember anything but it hurts when he yells at her due to all the misunderstandings that Simmi and Param have created.

Ishita gets up and goes to the kitchen. She brings a few empty boxes and begins packing food.

Adi: Yeh khana aap kiske liye pack kar rahi ho Ishimaa?

Ishita: Tum dono ko toh apne hathon se khana khila diya but meri Ruhi reh gai na aur Aliya bhi. Ab unhe apne hathon se khila toh nahi sakti but un dono liye apne hath se khana pack karke bhej toh sakti hoon na. Waise toh unhone dinner kar liya hoga but phir bhi Adi tum ghar jaoge abhi toh un dono ko thoda khila dena. Main pysum bhi pack kar deti hoon thoda.

Adi: Ishimaa thoda aur pack kar do.

Ishita: kyun? Aur kiske liye?

Adi: woh mujhe na beech raat mein aaj kal bhook lagti hai isliye.

Ishita nods and packs some more food. She then goes to the kitchen to pack some pysum for them.

Adi looks at Ishita walk away and thinks today not only your children but even your husband will eat food that you have sent. Wait and watch Ishimaa.

Ishita returns with a container with pysum in it and packs that along with the other containers in a bag for Adi to take with him. Amma and Pihu bring a tray with bowls of Pysum for everyone. Adi and Pihu ask Ishita to feed them pysum too and they in turn make Ishita eat some pysum too.

After they all finish eating it is time for Adi to take Pihu home. Ishita gives Adi the packed food and Adi gets up to leave. Pihu becomes sad again and hold Ishita's hand firmly. She does not want to leave Ishita and go. She then hugs Ishita and does not let go. Ishita lovingly strokes Pihu's hair and kisses her forehead and asks her to be a good girl and go home to papa who is surely waiting for her to return.

Pihu: Ishimaa aapko promise kiya tha isliye main papa ke pas ja rahi hoon. But mujhe aise yeh sab accha nahin lagta. Hum sab pehle ki tarah kab rahenge? Hamari family phir se ek happy family kya kabhi nahi hogi Ishimaa?

Ishita: Zaroor hoga beta. Hamari family phir sath hogi n hum phir one big happy family honge. Aapko Ishima pe bharosa hai na? Toh bus main dheere dheere sab theek kar dungi. Chalo ab aap dono ghar jao.

Adi and Pihui say their goodbyes and leave. Ishita smiles as she watches them go but her smile quickly fades once they leave.
