Omg where were you when I was in high school?😆
I was horrible. Despite trying like crazy I couldn't get more than 75%.

I hate Math but envied those that were good at it. If only...i could have been in the medical field.

Basic (school) maths is quite useful. Engineering maths, though, is another matter altogether.

What I found absolutely useless is Chemistry. Like, what's the point of knowing atomic and molecular structures etc. when there is absolutely no practical use in real life? But still until 10th it was fine; it got worse in junior college where there was organic and inorganic chemistry. Those equations still give me nightmares; only god knows how I passed.

But at least Physics and Biology were kinda understandable because of their real life relevance (although I could have very well done without learning about the reproductive system of a cockroach 🤔).

Languages were a blessing. I loved English, Telugu and Hindi classes. I was a favourite of all my language teachers, while I was snubbed by the other subjects teachers (although I was good at Maths).

I guess we learn all this in school to figure out where our strengths and weaknesses lie, and accordingly choose subjects in junior college and then the major in college. The intent is good, but the execution is bad! We are forced to top in all the subjects, that is SO not the point of school, we are just meant to excel in one or two subjects and take them up for higher education. But oh well... our education system is completely screwed up.

Never heard of Anand Kumar in Math field... think he is more of an educationalist with an inspiring story, looking forward to seeing his journey on the big screen. Hrithik is a solid choice.
Math is bae. 😆❤️ My conversations about Math generally go like this:

Person: What are you studying?

Me: Math

Person:

... Oh. Just Math? That's a thing? What will you do with it?

Me:

Uh, well, I can work in any company that involves numbers... but I just want to study and do research for as long as I can.

Person:

I think I react in similar ways when someone says they're studying pure Physics. Like HOW? 😲😆

Btw, I need to mention this. I used to suck at Mathematics until my 7th and used to be petrified of it (despite my mother being a Maths teacher).

I started reading the newspaper very early, so I happened to come across an article about John Abraham who said he used to find Maths very difficult until his 8th class, but once he put his heart into it, it became really easy, and in fact he started enjoying it.

I remember reading this article back in my 6th or so and thinking to myself that I still had a chance. And eventually, by 10th, I had excelled at it and scored good marks. Now as part of my job, I do financial modelling and financial forecast of firms operating with hundreds of crores. So credit to John Abraham for instilling confidence in me back then. :)

Ugh. Math. My fear and hatred of math started back when I was a kid and I would cry because I would often get scolded for not getting how to do it right away. I would get so frustrated studying and doing problems was very frustrating. It's so confusing, I hate all the formulas. The letters and the huge numbers is just horrible for me to look at. All other subjects but math I enjoy. The only math I think is okay is Statistics.
