Science is just a broader part of faith. Many inventions and discoveries were based on faith initially which later were proved through evidences. Earth is round was a theory until proven. So, faith and science go hand in hand. Problem with Rahul is that he understands neither faith nor science. He like many youngsters find religion and spirituality boring. Look at Dr. Srivastava. He believes in science but he isnt belittling the importance of the shivlings. Rahul completely ignored it until Dr. Srivastava said about it. Can he explain how Gauri didnt die that day or how Gauri has those dreams? He has a scientific explanation? No, he doesn't have one. I found him rude in these episodes. Gauri actually was saying the same thing Srivastava said. For Srivastava its the elements of the shivlings that cures people. For Gauri its the power of the Shivlings that saves people. She was mocked for saying the same thing differently.
