Hello I don't know if u guys watched the serial called Swabhimaan but I am finding similarity with that show and this even though it's different production house. Mr. Jain and the girl's mother were in laws last time too, he liked one guy and ridiculed the other. However it is a fresh perspective story

ESS had a mother who has ssingle handed brought up her girls after becoming a young widow. There Zara's mother played their aunt who had also similar attitude as we see now but then she was playing a Rajput women from Jaipur. Mr. Jain had 2 sons older one who he pinned all hopes on and wanted him to take over buiseness as ead since his dad was still there he could not. had rigid idea about male vs female roles. Wanted to crush the sisteer spirit by making them dil with his managre
