Hi, this is Saraf Wasima Islam Saba.

Location: Canada.

Being a huge fan of CID since the age of 4 & being 18 year old presently, I haven't missed a single episode. Literally watched every single episode from 1 till date. But still I can't help but notice how many times, the writers haven't realized to use the same titles for many episodic and their story lines. Is it me only or there are many of you who seemed to notice as well?😕

The writers don't just use the same titles, but they will sometimes repeat the same story. There are a few from the classic times that have been repeated in recent years.

Not only that but at one point every story of theirs was a copy of American or British crime shows.

Thanks for getting my point, and I'm very much annoyed since last Sunday's episode. Story was they had to stop a lady to commit a murder & get herself killed right? It's a damn copy of their own old episodes back in 1998, where the lady is abused by her police officer husband & has a 7-8 yrs old daughter. Back then Salunke's relative was the informer of the case to CID Team.😡

True, but that old case completely dealt with finding the address of the lady from the little clues they had. In the end, they finally managed to find her and saved her. In this case, the lady's address was found within the first few minutes of the episode and it was a murder, not suicide... First few minutes was based on the old case but after that, the story line was completely original..

Yeah, even I realized that. But what about the rest? I just hope they bring in some new concepts or bring in the old cast to create fresh stories. Let's admit this guys we do miss the old team such Daksh, Vivek, Nikhil, Shreya & Kaajal, etc. One can always make a re-entry, right? Or else Sony TV should organize another Shaatir Lekhak Contest Internationally do bring some new concepts.

If they do conduct another contest, they should actually use the story written by the winner. There was no point of the last one since that story wasn't used at all in the actual episodes that followed.. But Shridhar sir and his team are really very promising...

I totally agree, like I was dying to watch the winning story be it by title of Red Sandal or whatever title choice they had but alas none. I really wish they stand by their verdicts, even if they are promising why they keep shattering our hopes. Such as with the Eye Gang Episode, what's next? And what about Shreya & her child? CID needs to keep track with their characters & story lines. I wish they bring back Daya's sister & nephew, they actually made me feel that CID isn't just connected with the team but their own family as well. Sigh...😔
