I am here with a new prologue for my first long story of 2018!
and this one is for someone special on her special day, today a very cool friend and a very loyal reader of mine, freedomofspeech aka gree is celebrating her b'day, just a little effort from my side to make her day special and yes, this one is special for me as well as this is my 30th long story on the forum😉

ONCE UPON A ONE NIGHT STAND

PROLOGUE

He was sitting before the holy fire; the priest sitting next to him was busy chanting the holy mantras while he was just staring at nothingness blankly, doing what the priest was instructing him to do. Soon the bride was called; she walked to him with slow steps and was made to sit next to him while shagun, who was just standing in a corner, just got jealous of her sister ishita, sitting next to the Raman Bhalla, getting married to him.

Both the bride and the groom were lost in their own thoughts while Raman's father and ishita's mother were the happiest persons on earth seeing their kids finally settling down in life.

She looked at him with angry eyes while he too returned the hatred.

I -this is all happening because of that stupid one night stand, I so hate you Mr. Bhalla, I regret sleeping with you

She thought to herself looking at him while he too was having similar thoughts in his mind.

R -I so hate you for trapping me like this Ms. Iyer, all this happening because of that stupid one night stand, I will make sure you regret sleeping with me all your life.

He thought to himself before he was asked by the priest to fill her partition and tie the nuptial locket around her neck. He thought for a moment and did as told while a tear rolled down her eyes feeling the vermillion on her head. Their trance broke as the priest announced them husband wife.
