bomb blast hone wala hai kya??
It had been seven days, seven days since he had completely shut himself from the outer world. His mom walked into his room earlier in the week only to return with his silence. He barely saw his dad though, because once he looked at his father all his fears came to life.
He thought avoiding the subject would prolong his dad's life. Every time he heard his dad talk to his mom in the hall or kitchen all he wanted to do was hug him and maybe lock him some room if that could save him. He was growing weak and slept on a heavy dose of sleeping pills.
Every knock on the door would put him on the toes he would rush towards the corner of the room cover himself with blanket trying to block every bad news that would reach him. He thanked god that whoever there was left assuming there wasn't anybody at home.
The dark circles around his eyes were permanent feature now. Even his phone was switched off since he didn't bother to charge it.
For the first day he thought she would return. The next he hoped she would but the day after that he knew she would never come back again. No this was not about her at all, she wasn't at fault this was the reason he hid his secret from everyone around him
Either they would laugh thinking he was kidding or think he was insane. No one would ever believe him. He sneaked into his parent's room when they weren't around, it would give him little courage to open his eyes to the next sun
He often cried watching out of the window to see people going on about their lives, not having a care about the world. And then he remembered Shourya his little brother another sob escaped his throat since the pain was still fresh in his memory
They returned from the boarding school for the festival and his mom organised a big get together in their new home which was still under remodeling. She even convinced dad that it was okey to stop the work for the day and just celebrate the festival.
He was the happiest because he and his brother would get their own rooms when they return the next time after their exams.
He was still looking around when his brother came rushing into the room arguing with him that he liked this room better, he better agree or he would sneak into his room at every night.
They were too busy arguing that they failed to notice the fire which crept into the room. And then every thing happened just before his eyes he saw his brother burn to ashes and his instinct asked him to run save himself so he ran crying not able to find voice to cry for help.
He cried out for his mom and dad over and over again but they never came the house was already engulfed in flames the only route he found for escape was the terrace. So he took the stairs still calling out for his father.
Trying not to remember his little brother he was just fifteen what could he have done, he couldn't save him. But now after all these years he knew he could have saved his brother but he didn't.
Instead he chose to bloody watch Shourya burn and cry in agony plead and beg for help. He trusted him so much.
Washing his face in his parents washroom he grabbed a bunch of sleeping pills and swallowed there was someone on the door who was constantly knocking which was starting to irritate him.
Walking out he saw his parents in the kitchen arguing over something serious so he quietly picked up the water jug from the table and walked towards the door
Drinking from the jug directly he opened the door not bothering to see who ever it was. The cool evening breeze blew past him making him close his eyes and relish the feeling of fresh air after such a long time
Maan? He opened his eyes to see her, but now he didn't need her anymore. It was like what ever connection he felt with her was served. He felt nothing no anger no relief nothing at all. He just kept staring at her with a blank expression.
May we come in? she asked unsure of her purpose of this visit. She didn't want to be here but there was no one else who could be here doing what she was supposed to do too. Frustrated she bit out a bit louder this time.
Will you step aside so that we could enter? That's when he realised she has been referring to other people too but there was no one with her!
He stepped aside and saw her enter the sitting area. Noticing the commotion his parents walked into the hall questioning him of his Ex girlfriends presence.
He looked at them and shrugged saying friend and looked down at her, who was now looking back and forth from his parents to him with fear evident in her eyes
Maan who are you talking to? She asked gulping her saliva, playing nervously with the strap of her bag and trying to peek behind him.
My mom and Dad who else? He answered narrowing his eyes at her. Her eyes widened at that and her hands flew to cover gasp that escaped.
You are aware they are DEAD right? She asked shifting in her position not removing her gaze from somewhere behind me.
He moved his gaze from her to his parents who were still there watching over the whole interaction back to her who was now looking at him in eye.
Unable to answer he looked behind her once again only to find them turning into dark smoke in front of his eyes. That's when the memories triggered how his father pulled him from the terrace but instead slipped and broke his neck while he lost his conscience.
It was only after the thirteenth day from then he started seeing the dead. It wasn't until today he realized he lost his entire family that fateful night.
The atmosphere around the room thickened while the darker shadows engulfed them slowly. But today he didn't block them out of his vision neither acknowledged them. He kept standing looking around him as slowly things started taking ugly turn.
What do you want? He asked her not bothering to answer her previous statement. He was seeing black spots forming around his eyes there far too many sprites surrounding him at the moment. While he struggled to keep his balance
What you are seeing is not true maan, its just a fragment of your imagination. Your mind is drawing scenarios from the events you have seen... umm the ghosts... she took a deep breath while looking around doesn't exist
And he burst out laughing, how very predictive was that he thought. It was like his own whole existence was lie. And he laughed, laughed seeing her so frightened.
Do you know our neighbor's son is dead? He died in a car accident, his face was damaged even for recognition. I haven't stepped out of that door since you walked out and you already proved my parent dead! How do you think I knew? He asked looking tired even to continue talking. She looked here and there and once again behind him to find some help.
Im asking you again, What do you want? He asked looking lost and least interested in the topic
NOTHING! She shouted. we want nothing to do with you Her whole form changed eyes shined in blood red colour we don't believe in what you are saying and you don't believe in what we. She slumped down back on the couch and mumbled I don't know what am I doing here too low for anyone to here. But he heard it it only made him smirk
He pulled her with him towards his room and pushed her into the washroom the broken glass was still on the floor. He picked up a piece of glass in his bare hands gripping it tightly he let it it cut through his skin
How do you think this glass broke? I saw it shatter with my own eyes.. he said looking straight at her.
You have thrown your shaving kit at the mirror Mr Khurana someone said now entering the room pointing the floor where his stuff was thrown all over.
I'm the doctor who treated you the other day. There is no such thing as ghosts or sprites around you Mr knurana, its the way of your mind has chosen to deal with the loneliness. Why else didn't you see them around when you were at work or with your friends or girlfriend?
At that word he returned his attention back to her his eyes were accusing her. She now looked as pretty as she looked on their first meeting though
After your parents death and your relatives taking over your properties you were left on your own isn't it Mr. knurana? He looked at the doctor who was looking him with pride and pity. The doctor was proud on himself to have handled the case so well not even realizing the damage he was doing to a crushed soul. Such a pity he thought.
If he was given another life he prayed he would have enough courage to face something only he was gifted with. To try and help them in anyway he could. To be a better person who could face himself.
And most importantly not repeat the mistakes he did he thought looking at the women was too ashamed to face him now.
He kept looking at her and the dead which were now accompanying him and slit his neck in a swift motion.
MAAANNN! She screamed and rushed towards him. He somewhere down the line knew it would end like this. She kept looking here and there to find something that would save him
He raised his limp hand with the little bit of life he had to her fingers which were covering his throat trying to stop the blood
I know you believe me NOW!
BEWARE!
She walked out of the room after being pushed out by the medical staff, there were a million thoughts running in her head. What was she to believe, her eyes or the science? When she stepped back into the hall she noticed a small box neatly gift-wrapped with a small note to it. the box had a bracelet and tiny ear-studs
To My Enchantress

Maan
The end
P.s:Agar maan k nazarye se dekho tho bhoot hai and Doctor ya Gf k nazar se dekho tho its all in maans head. It all depends on ones perception !
I still wonder how did the glass wall at the restaurant broke though!!
Part 1 She remembered how it ended—no, not ended. How she ended it.Not with shouting. Not with accusations. But with silence so sharp it had cut...
