Present

Swety: ( taunting) dekh rahe ho kya shivaay...ki tumhara bhai mujhse jo ki iss ghar main ek guest hai kaise baat kar raha hai...??kya yahi hai iss ghar yani ki OBEROI MANSION ki neeti... ( Are you seeing how your brother is behaving with me ; a guest of oberoi mansion.. Is this the mannerism of Oberoi mansion)

Shiv (annoyingly): Om ...please...apni hadd mein raho...varna ... ( Om please stay in your limits...else)

Om: varna kya shivaay...??kya?? ( else what...Tell me what??)

Gauri: ( pulling him) Omkara ji...chaliye hum kamre mein chalte hain... ( Omkaraji come let's go to our room)

Pinky: ( sarcastically) Oh my mata!!! Tumhe sunai nahi deta kya?? yaha mere beta shivaay isse kuch baat kar raha hai...aur tum use kamre mein le jaane ki baat kar rahi ho?? Unpads. ( Can't you hear...My son shivay is talking to him and you want him to go back to his room?? Illiterate)

Om: ( frustrated) choti maa...aap please inn sab main mat padiye... ( aunt you please stay of out)

Shivaay: ( shouting) OM!!! Voh maa hai meri...tum unse eise baat nahi kar sakte...samjhi tum... ( Om she is my mother and you can't speak to her this way)

Om: ( regaining his composure) shivaay please...abhi isi vakt...tum iss swetlana ko yahan iss ghar se nikaal do...main isse aur bardash nahi kar paaunga...bahut zaada he drama ho chukka hai iska...( Shivay please Tell swetlana to leave right now..I can't bear her any longer..already she has done so much of drama)..

Swetlana throws an angry look at shivvay...

Shivaay: ( controlling his emotions) Om!!!! yeh mera bhi ghar hai...aur iss ghar mein vahi hoga jo mein kahoonga... Aur main ache se jaanta hoon ki main kya kar raha hoon..toh please tumhe muje btaane ki koi zaroorat nhn hai muje kya karna chahye aur kya nhn ( This is my house too.. And my word will be final...And I very well know what I am doing so please don't bother giving advice)

Shivaay's words pierced om's heart like a knife...

Om: ( shocked) really shivay ?? yeh tum bol rahe ho?? Aur hamare beech main kabse yeh MERA ...TERA...aagya...haan???...nhn actually galti meri he hai...mujhe he samajhne chahiye tha ki jisse ham pyar karte hai uska bhi hamse pyar karna zaroori hota hai...rishte ko chalaane ke liye...ek tarafe rishte zaada der tak nhn chalte.. ( Are you saying this shivay?? And since when did yours and mine came in our relation...I thought our realtion was way above that phase... Nevertheless I think it's my fault...I should have realized that the love and affection has to be from both the sides...One sided relations can't sustain longer)

Shivaay was trying his best to control his tears...

Shivaay: ( emotional) yeh kaise batein kar rahe ho tum om.. ( what sort of stuff are you talking om)

Om: ( sternly) nahi...aap baar baar muje Om bulake mujhe hurt mat kijiye...u can call me OMKARA...OMKARA SINGH OBEROI... jaise baaki duniya bulati hai ( please don't hurt me by calling me om...you can call me Omkara...Omkara singh oberoi...as the rest of the world does)

Tej was witnessing all these and finally he spoke up... and was amused by the way he saw his son speaking against shivay and that too for his wife...

Tej: shivaay...hamesha tumhari dadi kehti thi na...ki main aur shakti dono iss ghar keliye ek doosre se ladte hai...par hame saalon baad, tum logon ki iss anmol bandan ke karan yakeen hua tha ki rishtein kaise nibhane hai...par main nahi jaanta ki achanak se tumhe hua kya hai shivaay...ab tum ek ruthless business man ki tarah baat kar rahe ho...tum iss ghatiya aurat ke liye apne bhai aur uski beevi ki bezathi kar rahe ho...Muje toh yeh saari baatein bahut der baad samajh main aayi hai..aur tab tak maine apne rishte kho diye..Par main tumhe fer bhi samjhana chahta hun ki tum yeh galti mat karo jo maine ki thi itne saalon pehle...( SHivay your grandma always used to say that Shakti and I were always fighting for this house..But we after years seeing you three brothers' bond have realized how to fulfill the relations...I don't know what has happened to you shivay...I don't the reason for your transformation into a ruthless businessman.. I don't know why for this cheap lady are you misbehaving with your brother and his wife... Shivay it took me years to finally realize my mistakes and by the time I realized I had nothing except regret...I hope you don't repeat the mistake that I did years back)

Daadi: ( crying) tume hua kya hai billu...tum aise nahi the...mera billu aisa nhn tha ( what has happened to you dear...You were never like this...My grandson was never like this)

Shivaay: daadi...dekhiye mere businesse ki vajah se aaj iss khandan ka naam aasman tak pahooncha hai... agar main itna kar sakta hoon toh mein apne business partner ko mere gharvalon ki bezathi se bacha sakta hoon..aur yeh meri duty hai daadi..please aap mat boliye beech main ( grandma!! Look it's all because of me and my business that the Oberoi name is flourishing and is at heights today...if I can single handedly do that then I can definitely protect my business partner from all the insults that are hurled at her by my family members...This is my duty grandma...and this is regarding my business grandma so please stay out of it)

Tej: ( shouting) shivay...tameez se baat karo..daadi hai wo tumahri ( shivay talk respectfully she is your grandma)

Pinki on the other hand is happy as her son is behaving exactly how she should be and ow she always wanted him to behave

Pinki: bilkul sahi keh raha hai mera beta mummiji!! Yeh uske business ka sawal hai...aur mera beta kuch logon ki tarah bahut zaada kaam karta hai...aur bahut naam hai uska...Toh please hume uske guests ki respects toh karni chaheye na...Toh kya hua agar wo guests jeth ji ki ex mistress he hai... ( My son is absolutely right mom...Afterall it's about his business and unlike some other people in this house my son works a lot and has a very big name...So please we need to respect his guests even though the guest is Brother in law's ex mistress) and smirks...

Tej: (roaring) pinki !!! yeh mat bhoolo ki tum apni saas se baat kar rahi ho...and jahan tak business ka sawaal hai...toh yeh oberoi empire maine banaya hai...shivay ko business maine sikhaya hai...kabhi bhi yeh bhoolne ki galati mat karna tum...

Aur naam toh mere Omkara ka bhi bahut hai...Uske sculptures croro main bikte hain and uski paintings ke bare main toh muje tumhe btaane ki zaroorat nhn hai na... (hinting at how her friends are crazy for omkara's paintings and how pinky requests om to do them for them).. ( Pinki don't forget that you are speaking to your Mother in law...And as far as business is concerned let me remind you that I, Tej singh Oberoi has built this Oberoi empire, I have taught shivay the tricks of business..Don't you dare forget this pinki...

And about name; even my omkara is very famous...The paintings that he makes sells in Billions and I don't thinki have to remind you about his paintings...)

This lecture from tej leaves pinki embarrassed and tight lipped...and om is happy that his father has finally acknowledged his skills...but keeping that aside for now om says

Om: haa...shivaay...ham galat the...main aur rudra...hum dono hamesha...tumahre liye jiye...har ek pal tumahre liye jeeya hai...par...aaj jo tumne kiya na...iske liye mein tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karuna...aur jahaan tak muje lagta hai rudra bhi tumhe kabhi maaf nhn karega uski chulbul bhabhi ko aise treat karne ke liye.. (shivay, we were wrong...rudra and I were always living for you...But what you have done today is not at all forgivable...And as far as I can think even rudra will not forgive you for treating his Chulbul bhabhi in a way that you did)

Jhanvi: shivay beta!!!tum toh aise nhn the...you have always give more importance to realtions than this business; so now what has changed that you are reacting this way?? And you know what has your badi maa been through because of this lady still you got her here..

Pinki: jethani ji! Ab mera beta apne business associates ko bhi nhn laa sakta kya iss ghar main...ab use apne guests ko lane se pehle yeh sochna padega ki kon comfortable hai and kon nhn...Oh my maata jethani ji...Muje toh lagta hai ki aap sab mere bte ki successes ko dekh ke jealous ho rahe hain...kyunki aapka beta jo nhn kar paa raha hai yeh sab... ( Jethani ji!! Now can my son not even bring his business associates over...Does he have to think about who will be comfortable and who will not be before bringing in his guests... Jethani ji I think that you all are probably jealous of my son's success because your son hasn't achieved all of that)

Jhanvi: Pinki tum toh chup he rahoo!! Jab dekho ladai ki he baat karti ho...aur yeh baat tum ache se jaanti ho ki maine kabhi bachon main farak nhn kiya..farak karan aur jalna sab tumahari aadatein hain...aur jo aurat apne bte ki khushiyon se jal sakti hai wo aurat aur kisi bhi cheez se jal sakti hai...

Aur haan yeh saara naam, shauhrat tumahre liye maaiyne rakhte honge...mere liye nhn...Main bahut khush hoon ki mera beta Omkara ek self renowned insaan hai jisko oberoi surname ke peeche bhaagna pasand nhn hai...aur na oberoi ki power use karna pasand hai...( pinki you must keep quiet!!! You can only talk of fighting all the time...And you know this thing well enough that I have never differentiated between the kids unlike you who always differentiated and was jealous... And about jealousy a lady who can be jealous of her own son's happiness can be jealous of anything else in the world...

And yes this name and fame don't matter to me unlike it does to you...I'm very happy that my son Omkara is self made billionare...a guy who doesn't take pride in being an oberoi, a guy who doesn't misuse his power of being an oberoi)

Daadi: bas karo ab tum dono...kaise baatein kar rahi ho...(stop it you two...what things are you talking)...

Jhanvi: nhn mummiji...yeh pinki ka roz ka he hai...har roz isse ek nayi ladayi chaheye karne ke liye...I don't y can't she just be happy and content ever... ( No MIL...This has become an everyday thing for pinki...Picking unnecessary fights all day..)

Pinki: haan toh maine sahi he kaha hai...Shivay apne business ke liye jo bhi kar raha hai kyun sabko usse itni takleef hai...Kyun koi shaanti nhn de deta mere bache ko ( I have spoken the truth...Whatever shivay is doing is for his business why is everyone having so much problem with it...Why can't my child have some peace)

And agar iss unpad gawaar ladki ne ( pointing towards gauri) swetlaana ka kamra saaf kar bhi diya toh konsa toofaan aa jaaega... Konsa yeh pehle se he maharani paida hui thi...aise kaamon ki aadat toh hogi he na isse..( It won't be much of a matter if this downmarket, illiterate girl cleans swethalana's room...She must be used to doing these kind of chores for she wasn't born with a golden spoon in her mouth)

Tej (shouting): yeh mat bhoolo ki wo gauri omkara singh oberoi hai...tej singh oberoi ki bahu hai...omkara singh oberoi ki biwi hai...

Aur jahaan tak baat rahi unpad gawaar hone kit oh pinki tumahri bahu anika bhi waise he hai...Bhool toh nhn gyi na tum...

Pinki ashamed...and anika is shocked hearing her insult

( Don't forget that she is Gauri omkara singh oberoi...Daughter in law of Tej singh oberoi and wife of Omkara singh oberoi...

And as far as mannerism and literacy is concerned ; don't you remember you daughter in law anika??? She falls under the same category right)

Shivay: ( shouting) bade papa please aap anika ko inn sab se door rakhiye... uska naam kyun aa raha hai beech main... ( Uncle please keep anika away from all this...Y are you dragging her in between all this)

Om: ( clapping) exactly my point shivay!! See how your blood boiled when Mr.oberoi said something against your wife...And you expect me to stay calm when it's about my wife gauri.. The rules shouldn't be different for two Daughter in laws of the same house shivay...

Shivay: dekho anika ka inn sab se koi lena dena nhn hai...toh use mat laao beech main and gauri tum jaake swethlana ke kamre ki safai karo...yeh sab tumahri he wajah se ho raha hai...

( look don't involve anika in all this...She has nothing to do with any of this...And gauri you go and clean swethlana's room...All this has happened because of you)

Tej: (shouting) gauri meri bahu hai...aur yeh mera faisla hai ki wo apne aur apne pati ke kaam ke ilaawa kisi aur ka koi kaam nhn karegi...aur yeh mera aakhri faisla hai...I hope I have myself clear shivay... ( Gauri is my DIL...and this is my decision that she won't do anything for anybody except her husband...This is my final word)

Shivay: lekin bade papa my guest wants gauri to clean so she has to...

Gauri tries hard to stop omkara and drags him but listening to shivay he stops and shouts listening to which the house shakes in fear...everyone including swethlana and shivay are hell scared seeing omkara like this...

He with finalty is his voice says: Gauri koi kaam nhn karegi...jiska guest hai wo deal karle...Mere family ko bother na kare... AM I CLEAR SHIVAY?? I don't want any more talks...and THUD ( GAuri will not do anything...It's your guest make her comfortable but don't bother my family for her...)
