The whole dialogue about not able to celebrate for last five years was in a way showing uncertainty that they didn't expect such a turn around in their life.

But when you look at Chakor,there is change in her thought process may be because of her jail sentence.

She is more to Pooja and all than before and bit more sensitive now.

my initial reaction was the same as yours but now when i look back i feel its nothing to worry. Udaan dialogues most of the time dont have much of signifiance. Chakor is insecure and more sensitive post leap because she got suraj back after a lot struggle and pain. I Iike surajs reassuring dialogues.They share a perfect balance. I am concerned about his baby wish though. He said it 3 times over 4 episodes. But maybe thats his dream and he will keep talking about it till its fulfilled.
