Have any of you heard about Inside Edge? It caught my attention because of the combination of Vivek Oberoi, Farhan Akhtar, and Ritesh Sidwani. 😳 I didn't know Farhan and Ritesh are now producing web serials along with films. I don't know too much about IPL or cricket in general either, but since this show won the award for best web series this year I thought I'd give it a go. 😊 All of the episodes are up on YouTube, but you'll have to search for each episode individually. 😛

Wow Dazz. This seems to be based on how IPL was introduced by Lalit modi(who is now absconding from India due to multiple scams 😕 ) and how it works!! Nice subject for sure . Will have to check it out Thanks Dazz😉

Didn't know about this, DAZZ. Farhan and Ritesh deliver good content.
Seems that web series is becoming very popular.
I will give it a try once I get chance. Thanks for recommending!

The story seems catchy, but why must Indian web serials be vulgar? 😳 Watch the first episode and you'll see what I mean. I have no idea who Lalit Modi is or that he introduced IPL to India. 😆 Richa Masand is a good actress and Vivek a good actor, so I thought I'd give it a go. 😳

I agree, Ami! Farhan and Ritesh have always delivered unique concepts to the masses. 👍🏼 The format does seem be to catching on with a number of actors and actresses signing up for not only short films these days, but also web serials. Isn't Saif doing a show with Netflix? 😃 I bet that too will be interesting. 😉 Now, will someone please offer Mishal a role that he can't refuse? What will it take to get this man to act again on an Indian platform? 😛 When I watch old clips of IKRS, I still can't believe this man hasn't taken up an acting offer in two years. 😳

Oh wow, a few articles about this series on IF recently did catch my attention, mainly because of
Vivek Oberoi & the star player actor, Angad Bedi ( well known wicket keeper Bishen Singh
Bedi's son ). I read that Season1 was a pretty big hit with its different story & the actors,
Specially Angad Bedi in his debut role ( he's a cricketer as well ) has done an excellent job.
I am pretty sure people who have watched the first are having high hopes on this one too.
But I did not know Farhan produced it.
TFS Dazz 😃

Dazz, i think we have no choice but to tolerate the foul language if we want to watch some
good content ( Indian ) web shows. Sadly, it's come to that ..😕
I was quite surprised to hear some on most recent one I watched on
Alt Balaji, Haq Se., although I would say the usage is less frequent
compared to many other shows..

I actually had no idea Angad Bedi was a cricketer himself and the son of a cricketer as well. Have heard the name before, but this is my first time seeing the actor onscreen. 😳 Mish, my comment wasn't even in reference to the language. It's the explicit scenes that are incredibly vulgar to watch. 😳 I have no issues with lovemaking scenes that've been aesthetically shot like how they are in Hollywood. More often than not, they seem unnecessary and in bad taste in India. 😕

Saif's series is called "Scared games" ( as per google)

For Mishal, we can pass on our positive vibes and good wishes for excellent role and that things work out in his favour. I think he will take up the project, just that things are not working out. Did you see he went to Indonesia just for a week or so to shoot.
May be he can take up finite series that wouldn't take up lot of his time and that he will get off during wknds.

I also very strongly feel that now a days in entertainment world out of sight means out of mind. People won't remember, one needs to keep on doing some or the other work.
6 months to 1 year gap is fine but then 2 years is way too much. There are lot of new players in the glitter world and are ready to work for much reasonable rates, I believe.

You're right, Ami. We can only hope for the best! At the end of the day, it's all in Mishal's hands what he chooses to do with his career. I feel that he hasn't been fair to his Hindi-speaking audience. If he can shoot for projects in Indonesia, then what's holding him back in India? 😕 It isn't as if he isn't a stellar actor or that he doesn't have offers on the table. Mishal had spoken about the offers he had for daily soaps during one of his live chats and also spoke about playing the second lead in a major Bollywood film in another. Which of the two was he planning to make a comeback in before he switched gears to singing? 😳 😆
