Giving the paper to his assistant, one of the loyal servant of the palace, Prime Minister faced Sultan and took back the scepter from his hand, making him to look shocked and loss of words while his wife looked confused but a bit determined to get something that she always wanted at the end.
As the claps died, the Prime Minister looked at the Queen and the Prince "If we may pick up from where we left off, your royal Highness!" With a super happy smile.
Rishab moved forward with a smile as he replied "By all means!" And casted a look at the lady on his left before he was standing in front of the old man.
"My wife and I will not allow this!" Sultan with a mocking smile "We will fight this, side by side together. We will hire an army of lawyers!" He added with venom.
"Make sure that one of them handle our divorce!" Deepali said with no emotions, shocking her husband of few minutes as she turned on her heels to make her way out of the assembly. Rishab knowing what is happening smiled ear to ear without turning back.
"Deepali! Lady Deepali!" Sultan cried as he followed her "What about our honeymoon plan?"
"Shut up Sultan!" She said firmly as both disappeared in one of corridors of the palace.
"Prince Rishab!" The old man called, gaining everyone's attentions on the event.
Prince understanding what the old man wanted, kneeled down on the floor and took hold of the scepter that the Prime Minister passed him "If any of the present members want to dispute Prince Rishab's claim to the throne, it's now or never!" He repeated the same line as the last time with different words and didn't even wait for a second to get any reply as he took the crown in his hand.
Rishab turned and looked at the lady who was happily smiling for the happening and passed a simple smile in return.
Facing the Prince, the old man announced "By the power vested in me as the Prime Minister" gaining back Rishab's attention "I crown you Prince Rishab Kundra!" With everyone's attention on the crown and on the to beholder of the crown.
Taking this as the time to leave, the lady who was and is the main reason for the event moved slowly backward, with no one remarking the movement of the lady, she made back her way to the stairs and disappeared.
All this happened while the old man put the crown in the head of the eligible man by adding "King of Canamaris!" and rounds of applause echoed the room with the King getting on his feet to take a bow in front of his people with his eyes searching for that one person, he now longed to see.
"Long live the KING!" "Long live King Rishab!" the hall roared with the applause still thundering in the assembly.
"Long live King Rishab!" Queen cried happily.
"Long live King!" Pakhi joined.
"And Merry Christmas to all!" Prime Minister wished so happily that his eyes were moist.
In all this, one man stood there, in the middle of the stage, with all attentions on him, with a large smile on his face which didn't even reach his eyes or heart as the latter one wasn't with him but with the person he gave it times before, times he felt to be himself, times he made to build himself, times she was always present and time they were they.
