Part 5
Raman nodded and both mother son made their way towards the mandap .
But after walking for few steps Raman stopped in mid and spoke " ma ,aren't we doing wrong to romi ."
T- why are you saying so puttar ?
R- ma,till now romi was here only ,he didn't told anything against this marriage,Now suddenly he just vanished ,we should look for him before doing this .
T- you are right puttar,even I was thinking same ,but we don't have time now ,everybody is waiting for groom outside moreover all of his friends are here only ,where he will go . may be he hadn't talked anything to us but I was noticing him discomfort even I thought to talk to him many times ,but couldn't because of work stress .
R- but ma I want to confirm it once more.
T- how ?
R- aap kisi tarah se kuch der sambhalo till then I will search him again .
T- puttar we don't have time ,simmi's marriage is after two days and if her in-laws will know that Romi is not there , may be they can broke simmi marriage too .puttar just think how we will face the society .
R- ma you are right but still I wanna talk to him once .
T- even I m worried about him ...
R- wait ma ,let me call him once more .
Saying so he took out his phone and was about to call romi when his phone beeped as a message popped up. He saw it was from unknown number ,he ignored it and was about to call romi , but then thought to check it and opened her . He got shock of his life reading the message as it was from Romi, informing them that he don't want to marry ishita as he loves someone else. Raman immediately called on that number , the first ring went miss but he picked the call in next ring .
R- hello ,whose this ,can I talk to romi .
Ro- bhai its me only .
R- where are you romi ,why you did this .you should have told me before, now what we will do . you know na ,day after tomorrow is simmi's marriage, at least being a brother ,you should have thought about her .
Ro- you are right bhai ,I was doing this marriage because of her only but today my girl friend was about to commit suicide ,I can't let her marry ,as I actually love her .
R- and what about ishita ,with whom you were marrying .
Ro- I m so sorry for her bhai ,but I couldn't sacrifice my girlfriend's life for her . I have an idea ,you marry her, her marriage will also happen and you too will get your life partner.
R(angrily)- shut up ,don't try to teach me, I can't believe you are same romi whom I know .
Ro- bhai you had never loved anyone na, that's why you are saying like this . you should have known it if you had one person who loves you madly .
R- (irritatedly)- shut up . I want you back now .
Ro - no bhai,I can't come .
Saying so Romi disconnected the call ,Raman ruffled his hair in frustration while toshiji ,asked" what happened puttar ".
Raman told everything to her ,she started crying and spoke " why you were calling him ,let him there only where he is ,I m not going to forgive him ever . "
They were still talking when Mrs iyer showed up again ,she was in much hurry to implement her plan ,so was following them continuously . Raman told his mother to go while he is coming shortly ,after making some calls . Both the ladies didn't went any where but waited for him . He called some of his men and told them to trace the call and search romi till morning . After instructing them they all headed towards the hall . Soon Raman sat beside panditji in mandap and panditji started enchanting mantras ,after sometimes ishita was called ,she was being settled in front of Raman ,Mr and Mrs iyer was called for doing kanyadaan , they completed the ritual nicely and then was instructed to sat beside Raman ,after sometimes panditji told them to take pheres along with marriage vows while toshiji happy tie knot of their duppttas ,ishra started taking the rounds of holy fire ,till three rounds Raman was leading them ishita came in front ,she was walking in front while Raman was flowing her ,both were joining hands after each pheres taking the vows of marriage .
After that they sat again their place , when panditji instructed the groom to fill bride's partition and tie mangalsutra, Raman picked a pinch of sindoor with silver coin and fill her partition .Ishita closed her eyes feeling the moment while Raman tied the mangalsutra around her neck . Panditji declared that the marriage was completed and told the couple to take blessings of the elders . Both did same and soon the vidaai ritual was also done as Mrs iyer wanted to get it done soonish before anyone got to know about the truth of groom and toshiji too wanted same .
Toshiji immediately send ishra to the hotel where honeymoon suite was booked for bridegroom , while she stayed back till all their guest left the place ,many even asked for Raman for which she told that he has gone for some urgent work as he is the only one who is looking after everything . Every body praised Raman for doing so much for his siblings sacrificing his happiness .
Ishra reached their room ,then Raman removed his sehra ,and Ishita was shocked to see him in grooms attire . She for sometimes get rooted to her place without reacting anything then shouted ," what the hell are you doing in grooms attire Mr Raman ".
R(confused )- what type of question is this ishita ? we had infirmed you everything ,you yourself agreed for the marriage and now asking this .
I-(angrily)- what are you saying ?when did you asked me moreover how can you think that i will agree to marry you. had you seen the difference between us , you must be at least 15 years older than me . che ,I m afraid how can you even think about it ,I will prefer to be single all the life instead of marrying a person so elder than me . You people have cheated me .
R- (worried )- ishita please don't say that ,me and ma both went to you , talked to you ,told everything to you . Don't say that we cheated you ,I married you will your concern .I know that ..
Before he can complete his sentence she interrupted him in mid and spoke " kab ,kab poocha tha aapne ".
R- what ?
I- just tell me when did you asked ?
R- that time when ma ,me and your mother come to you ,your mother asked you in your language and you agreed for the marriage .
I- that time Amma asked me that you people think that I m faking to be happy but is not happy thats why I answered that I m happy.
R- it means your mother has asked wrong question to you ,as we went to you for talking about my marriage as Romi eloped from the marriage and family and guest of both the families were waiting outside .
I- do you even know whst are you saying ,you are accusing my mother and what's this that friends and relatives were waiting outside . Arey you people had told me the real matter I wouldn't had felt so bad that time but this time I feeling to he trapped . Ek shaadi hoti ,thodi muskil hoti but doosri ho jaati but I wouldn't had to marry you .
Raman was hurt listening to this but her points were also right ,he suggested her to call her mother and talk to her once . Ishita nodded and called Mrs iyer ,who was on the way to their home. She saw that its ishita's call and disconnected the call . Ishita called again but she didn't picked the call ,then she called mihika who immediately picked the call and spoke " congratulations for the marriage ishita ".
I(tensed )- miku where is amma .
M- I don't know .
I- I don't know matlab you people are together na .
M- no ,we are not .I m in hotel Hyatt regency ,enjoying my honeymoon witg my husband Romi Bhalla .
Ishita got another shock of her life ,her phone slipped from her hand while mihika's evil laugh was audible to Raman too.He saw ishita worriedly while she dropped herself lifelessly in the chair ,knowing the truth that not Bhalla's but her own mother and sister has cheated her .
