Part 27
Amma told ishita that she don't have to take extra efforts as Raman loved her a lot and if she apologize him with all her heart and trust him truely ,he will be more than happy and forgive . Ishita nodded and spoke " yeah amma you are right ,Raman always showered so much love on me ,he has done everything which he can do ,to remove my insecurities but still I hurt him. "
A- haan kanna you did wrong you should apologize to him .you rest and think ways to woo him ,I m going to complete my work .
I- I m also coming with you .
A- that will be good ,either you will keep on stressing yourself and will end up getting sick .
I- are you teasing me .?
A- no ,it always happens thats why I m saying that .
Talking like this both mother and daughter went to kitchen to complete the left work .On the other hand Raman, his family and Mr iyer along with their lawyer were sitting outside the court room ,waiting for their chance while shagun and her lawyer was yet to come After much time shagun and her lawyer showed up ,but their chance has still not come .Raman instructed his lawyer to call shagun and his lawyer telling him that they want to discuss something really important .
The lawyer nodded and went to them , soon shagun ,Raman and their lawyer were standing together . Raman left their lawyers and called shagun one side and showed some pics to her . it was her snaps with other man ,some of them were in compromising state , proving that she too has extra marital affair . He showed those pics to her and spoke " shagun though I had enough proof to prove you guilty but I don't want to defame you in front of court . so it will be nice if your lawyer don't create any trouble and we get divorce easily ."
He then showed her the some papers and spoke " I had brought your property papers too ,after getting our divorce order ,I will sign and give these documents to you . And from that time we will be strangers ,neighter I know nor I you know me . hope I m very much clear and you too agree to me ".
Shagun didn't spoke anything ,she just nodded and both made their ways towards the courtroom . After a wait of about twenty more minutes they were called ,the judge listened to shagun and Raman ,they clearly denied that they don't want to be together and soon they were granted divorce . After getting the order ,Raman signed the property papers and gave it to shagun . Raman was happy that he is free from this unwanted relationship while shagun was look bit disappointed but nobody cares for it as she has hurt them much in past .
Raman was too happy that now he is free and can marry ishita without any problem thinking so they all went to marriage registrar office and took form for his and ishitas marriage too so that they can submit it soon to get earliest date for their marriage. He was too happy today as everything was going on his favor he thought to give this happy news to ishita ,but then he recalled how he shouted on her in morning . He felt bad on his behavior and the first thing come in his mind was her health . All the blood from his body drained thinking the worst as appa too was with them . Thinking so he immediately called amma . Amma was busy in her work when her phone buzzed ,she received the call seeing Raman's call ,she picked the phone and he asked fearing " amma how is ishita, had she ate something ".
A- besides asking this to me ,you should had called her only .
R- no amma ,I know she will be upset , will come in evening and woo her . actually I shouted on her unnecessarily as I was bit tensed ,but I know she must have took it in other way .please take good care of her ,till I come .you know na how she is .
Amma smiled listening to his concern for ishita as though she was wrong he was blaming himself.Amma was thinking when Raman spoke " amma are you listening to me ".
A- yes kanna I m listening ,will take care of ishita but it was not your fault ,rather this time she was at fault . She should learn to trust you .
R- nothing like that amma ,I understand her situation .its just I was bit tensed about the case ...
A- its ok kanna ,I will see ishita .waise what happened in your case ,did you got ..
R-(happily)- yeah amma , I got the divorce and also I had taken form for our marriage ,tomorrow I and ishita will come here to submit the form.
A- thats so good news kanna , wait I m calling ishita .
R- no amma ,don't call her ,I will come and give surprise to her ,you just take good care of her .
A- ok kanna ,you yourself give this news to her,waise she is alright and is feeling guilty for her behavior in morning . you people are strange ,at first you people fight with each other then feel guilty .
Raman ruffled his hair and spoke smiling " what to do Amma ,you daughter is like a kid who always wants more , but may be after our marriage she will be change .
Amma- hope so .
Then Raman hung the call and then all headed towards iyer house after completing all the formalities of court . On the way they picked sweets to congratulate each other while Raman sneakily bought a beautiful white lily bouquet for ishita and till the time seniors were taking sweets ,he went to near by shop and asked a nice gift for a pregnant lady .The shop keeper showed many gifts to him but he rejected everything,both Raman and shopkeeper in deep thought when his eyes fell on some dolls which were looking like real babies . Not only that they work on battery and cry when their pacifier is removed .Coincidentally he found a pair of twins in those dolls ,he smiled looking at them and bought thdm without giving another thought . Then he joined their parents and returned back home .
Amma was eagerly waiting for them while ishita was busy in making a sorry card for him . The door bell rang ,amma opened the door and toshiji happily hugged amma ,she too hugged him back congratulating her . All settled in the couch while Raman headed towards ishitas room to give this news to her . He knocked the door,she hided the card and opened the door . Both saw each other and Raman entered the room ,she eagerly wanted to know the result but before that she has to apologize ,while on the other hand Raman too wanted to share the big news but before that he wanted to say sorry . Both saw each other and spoke
" sorry " together . They looked at each other then hugged tightly mouthing sorry to each other ,then ishita teared herself from him and spoke " why are you saying sorry ,its me who hurt you . I m so sorry Raman ,you have done so much for me and I always hurt you ,I m sorry ".
She spoke making a puppy face ,while he smiled ,she then took out a sorry card and gave it to him with a beautiful bouquet of yellow rose .He didn't spoke anything and was just looking at her when she held her both ears and again said sorry ,making a puppy face. He smiled fully and spoke pulling her cheeks ," I hadn't seen this awtaar of yours ever ,you know you look cute ".
I- thank you but at least say na that you forgave me .
R- that was not needed sweety as I too shouted on you unnecessarily . Even I m sorry for my rude behavior . Come I wanna talk to you.
I- no pahle you tell me what happened in court .
R- thats what I m saying . we won the case and here is our marriage form.
Ishita got happy Listening to this while their eyes brimmed with happy tears , they hugged each other tightly and remain in their embrace for sometimes then Raman cupped her face and asked " you are happy na ".
She nodded and spoke " no ,super happy ".
R- I got something for you.
I- what ?
Raman then gave her the bouquet and a box . She smiled looking to the bouquet and asked " whats this ".
R- open and see yourself .
I- humm .
Ishita unwrapped and then opened the box ,she made a aww face looking to the dolls ,which were twins a girl and a boy ,nicely dressed with pacifier in their mouths along with their small toys . Raman raised his eyebrows and asked " how's it ".
I- its so so so cute .
Saying so she took out the pacifier from one doll and it started crying .Ishita giggled and spoke " aww she cry also ."
R- humm just like a real baby ,I want our babies too like these only .
I- me too ,they are so cute.
Raman side hugged her and spoke"- I m sorry ,I shouldn't have shouted on you."
I- it was my fault ,I shouldn't have told that to you .
R- chalo koi nahi ,we both were wrong and sorry ,now a new phase of our life is going to start . we should think about it .come out ma and papa has come to meet you .
Ishita nodded and both went out to meet and take blessing from their parents as today is a big day for them .
