Firstly, Star Plus is a channel all about irony. They promote the hell out of 'Nayi Soch', however they don't give the shows which attempt to demonstrate the whole idea of 'Nayi Soch' the promotion they deserve. They keep on rinsing the same old 'Saas-Bahu' dramas whereby the women are shown weak yet strong thanks to their husband! Hello!?!? It's 2018! We're no longer interested in such rinsed-out mediocrity! We're more interested in the 'hunter-wali' wife character(s) as Avni rightly said she is to Neil!
I am so disappointed as Naamkarann seems to have lost its initial purpose; to introduce and promote the idea of 'Nayi Soch'. I know I'm not reaching when I say that it's the only show which adopted this theory and worked on it. However, lately, it looks like they're obsessed with turning Naamkarann into a typical daily soap.
I really don't understand the point of Mishti's character. I don't understand why the creatives keep on extending her duration on the show. Let's be honest! Who watches the show for her? Who waits impatiently to see what her next move's going to be? That's right... in the words of Alicia Keys no-one! I honestly believe they should've gotten rid of her instead of Neela!
I want the creatives to understand that the show will run and the trps will increase IF the viewers are happy and watching! In order to get the viewers watching, you have to keep them interested. You keep them interested by giving them what they want or something along the lines.
As a loyal viewer, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and I will continue to watch the show as I don't want the actors and actresses or crew's efforts to go to waste as they work extremely hard.
