Did Karthik cross a line ?

No ! In fact I loved seeing him serving Kheer to the guests. Am happy that CV's are trying to break the age old conception of DIL's only serving to the guest. Whether it's a girl or a boy , they should serve the guests as the guests have come down to their house and not just one's. So they both are hosts and they together needs to provide comfort to their guests.

Happy that CV's tried breaking this age old rule in this subtle way.

I've seen men serving guests so many times...Now KD will scold Naira for letting Karthik serve guests...its as stupid as scolding her for chewing gum...She literally asked her to call him "ap" like she use to call Kittu key dada ji? 😆 she wanted Naira to behave like she is living in 1980s?...could have easily given example of Suwarna-Manish...or maybe she didn't even want her to take Kittu's name infront of guests and call him suniye ji that's why 😆...Naira was 100% right in her usual reasoning with KD session this time...Respect for ur life-partner is in heart...and pretentiousness weakens relationships...

I am confused with what exactly are they trying to show..Neither men setting kheer is a problem nor kartik helping naira in choree, nor is there is a problem in her calling him tum...I see it both ways..If they actually want to shown that these things dont matter to the new gen and it's a good change , make "someone" appreciate them ..Like they showed naira's effort was appreciated and came in news or something , it didn't knock any sense into dadi that's wrong but chalo...Here also they keep on telling us that dadi is constantly thinking of log kya kahenge and log keh ke chale jaate hain , log bhi pagal hain...So how will dadi change ?

If se look at the other side of the mirror , giving 2 mins happiness to the elder won't make any difference ..But looking at dadi, nobody would want to do that much for her ..They need to change dadis attitude ..Every single problem is due to someone or the other hiding , dadi trying to boss around etc...Make the supporting characters strong or have a voice of reason here ..Naira arguing won't be considered ok..Or they are not presenting it well..Such issues become source of conflict and everyone thinks peace of mind is better than any such altercation

So what's the big deal if Karthik served kheer to the guests
There's absolutely nothing wrong in that so many men help
Out there women in household chores and preparing food
Why is this controlling Dadi making issue about it

U people will never understand as long as u see it as a gender supremacy issue.

See kartik wasn't exactly at home when naira was asked to.make kheer. It's basic manners that u serve it when u cook it and not yap away on phone when u have guests around. See it this way instead of seeing it through feminazi eyes.

Kartik can serve kheer or whatever he could have served it without telling naira is busy on.phone! No phone call is as important as the work u are assigned.

My dad cooks my dad serves food almost always. But i never saw my parents talk on phone when they invite people or when there are unexpected guests.

Naira is always on phone as such. Sorry to say but expecting an old woman to change her ways is pathetic thinking .

Unfortunately it's not about her way of thinking but log kya kahenge..She also justifies her doings and honestly log itne bhi crack nai hote ..I felt there was no harm in doing 2 mins ka natak for dadi s happiness ..To avoid conflict and for peace and harmony..What they show is naira agreeing to dadi, kartik faltering or vice versa ..If it's not them , luv kush create a problem is not them, someone xyz..Everytime they end up doing what dadi does not want ..Why can't naira ask kartik to be a little sensitive to dadis feeling s..Only when she communicate the problem will be less complicated but she herself is adamant on I am right and others are wrong

It is the clash of thoughts. Its not that Naira does not want to do it. She did try to behave as per Dad's wishes before Karthik faltered.

The problem here is not Naira / Dadi / Karthik but her approach. Dadi is image conscious as well as old school believer, to top it she is stubborn. Unfortunately Naira is also same in beinng stubborn ,so clashes are bound to happen.

More than Dadi, it is Karthik 's mistake. It is a husbands duty to strike a balance between family members and wife but here Naira is trying to find her own footing. Karthik most of the times is with Naira and disregards family's opinion immediately. He doesn't even try and explain his family's POV to Naira, how Naksh does to Keerthi. Karthik leaves everything on Naira , so she is bound to think that she is going right and so would not bend. With this type of behaviour most of the times a DIL start losing respect for other family members and do not consider their opinion at all. This is what is being shown now - Naira frisking away the trucks without telling anyone etc.

Secondly, Most of the houses, after a son is married, I have seen the MIL, FIL etc complaint things to the DIL of the house but say nothing to the son, when in reality it should be told.to either both or to the son so that communication is there. This should be changed.

KD is considered right here? Because she is an elder? or because she is against Naira? We as viewers correlate our situations or situations around us with characters...its natural...but every single situation and circumstances are different even if they are apparently same! If I keep my disliking for Keerti's characters' fragility aside...I will never Ever say whatever KD did or is doing with her granddaughter was right or is right...similarly even if I keep my liking for Naira or Karthik individual characters or my love for Kaira aside...whatever KD is doing with them is wrong...she can't take Keerti's name as she was the one who intiated Naksh-Priyanka's supposed link-up...because it might create rift between Naksh-Keerti...but adamantly announced Karthik's name though he advised both KD-Keerti not to talk about that matter again...than she had audacity to say Naira will fight with him...obviously she will...if Naksh can misunderstand Keerti than Naira can also misunderstand Karthik after listening to similar revelation...than KD's countless *sigh of relief* finally Kittu is back to seedha rasta whereas he in actual is extremely restless...I won't mind if *sigh of relief* was after seeing Kittu happy and not after seeing Kittu living mechanically according to KD's principles of how man should be...

That was my point exactly but I couldn't explain it this well..Both of them didnt love their parents for a long while and were not with them so it's said that they are not cut out for joint family..But they want this same family so all of them will have to find a middle ground ..It's more of kartiks fault , ur abs right , but it's not his fault entirely ..Every boy takes his family for granted and normally it's the dil who suffers and has to hear the taunts ..like it's a big deal for naira to hear joru ka ghulam everytime , she reacted to it , while kartik is unaffected by it...The same was experienced by akshara where naitik didn't care too much about gayatri ..I again say it was handled very well back then.. I'd say whatever your stance is , take your husband into confidence and then declare a war ...main theek main theek...Otherwise you are fighting a lost battle ...

My husband helps in the kitchen and serves food too..many husbands help wife in kitchen what's wrong with that..in which year is Dadi and her weird friends are stuck..1960s??
