Welcome to the first written update in the forum...

A woman is praying at the temple. She prays to the goddess for her's daughter's marriage and for the boy's family to like her. The woman turns out to be Dolly, Meera's mom. Dolly enter's Meera's room and tells her to organize herself as the prospective groom and his family are coming home to see her. Meera however is playing a game with her friends. She wins and tells her friend that she would win to if she would stop ogling boys. They enjoy lassi. Meera's friend tells her it is 10:00am so she should hurry since her mother would be looking for her. Meera realizes the time and says that her mom will kill her. She rushes off and catches rickshaw. She races against time.

She reaches the Training Academy and sees a long line of girls. She thinks why would they need training. Someone calls her and she says that she arrived but she does not require training. A girl tell her to go to the back of the line. Suddenly a girl faints. Meera rushes to her aid. Girl opens her eyes and scold Meera and says she was pretending to faint so that she could get admission. Meera wants to know what is so special about this place. In her haste to assist the girl, Meera had dropped her cake box. She rushes back outside for it. She picks it up and goes to the reception area. She reads an advertisement about bridal training and starts to laugh.

The receptionist sees the cake and ask if this is it. She frowns and says Meera needs to prepare a tiramisu cake to serve to her future in-laws. Meera asks if one's family member is in trouble who to save the cake or the family member. Owner walks in an answers that she should do both. Meera disagrees. Owner sees several faults with her and says that she needs to be in a special class. Meera voices that she has no desire to attend here and only came to submit her cousin's work. The owner asks her whether or not she is married. She is told that Meera is not. Owner scolds her and says she does not possess the qualities to be a good bahu and that she has to attend the academy if she ever want to marry. Meera says she will never attend thus infuriating the owner. Someone comes in with high praises for the owner saying that she is getting married to a wonderful boy. The person says that it is only possible because of this academy. Owner looks at Meera.

At Meera's house, potential groom and family are awaiting Meera's arrival. Her mom is serving them and begs them to calm down. They are angry and wonder when Meera will come. Meera arrives home and climbs inside her room unseen. Her sister sees her and tells her that the boy and his family have been waiting for sometime. Meera quickly changes and goes downstairs. Groom's mother and sister interrogates Meera. They are disappointed that she studied her BA and not MBA. Dolly says that Meera goes to Queen's college. They asks how fluent Meera is in English. Her mom says that she is very good. Teh groom's grandmother queries about what meals Meera can prepare. Meera starts naming Punjabi dishes. Grandma want to know if she can make Italian dishes to. Meera's mom jumps in and says that Meera has prepared the pasta. Groom says that the pasta is delicious. His mother says that Meera's face has no moles on it and therefore this is an unlucky sign.

Meera gets angry and lashes out. SHe says that she is better than the boy who is only eating and that she does not like likes. She confesses that her BA is in correspondence. She says she does not know how to prepare anything Italian. Her mom gets upset and tells her that the family is just performing a test on her. Meera says that since childhood she was taught to never tell lies. Mom reprimands her and says that she should not tell the truth in front of a boy's family. Meera says that she won't tell lies and that the boy should like her just the way she is. Dolly is livid and takes Meera to her room. Her Daadi pleads with Dolly not to hit Meera. Dolly locks Meera in the room and says that the door would only be opened tomorrow when the real groom comes. Meera says this is the way Bhagwan has made her and she is not at fault. She says she won't change. Her mom gets sad.

precap----Meera tells her sisiter that she is like a custom made dress. She cannot be altered so therefore the boy must like her just the way she is. She escapes through the balcony.
