I personally never liked the pairing of Anant and Ahana. Not because of the age gap but there was no proper back story for them. Their relationship was seemed to be popped up totally out of nowhere. This was one of the major reason I couldn't connect with them. I never watched the Turkish show and I had no idea of Rehana even being a pair as I thought Rehaan was another character in the show like Tarun. But what they have progressed in their level of understanding and love they surely have been added to my favorite couples list.
And with inconsistency with Anant's character. This guy had more mood swings than Saloni's during her pregnancy. Like a typical saas bahu serial ka hero with no mind of their own and easily manipulated by the evil female gang of the serial. Characters like these easily creates a aversion and makes us judgemental about men who are more attached to their mother or their sisters.(My opinion though).
Indian TV shows should seriously start thinking about characters who are matured enough to inspire people to at least make an attempt to be sensible and treat others right with empathy.
