"There is someone at the door Papa! I will call you later!" as the knocking sound dies.
"Okay dear!" her father replied.
"Love you Dad!" and she cut the call.
Putting her phone on the table, she got up and went to open the door.
Opening the door half way, she saw the Prince waiting there, studying his watch.
Not getting what he is doing there, she said "Hi!" to get his attention.
Turning back to check her bed with document laying on it, she lightly closed the door as he faced her with his hands in his pant pockets.
"Is there something I can do for you?" she asked as flashes of the morning scene flashed in her mind.
"I thought we might go for a walk!" he replied simply "It's a lovely night outside."
Hesitatingly she replied "I don't know!"
"Please!" he said. With a thinking look, he added "Just 20 minutes. I will be pleased to have your company."
She nodded not knowing what to say "Sure!" and showing her hand inside the room, she said "Let me get my coat!" and that made him smile.
Closing the door, she heaved a breath of relief as he waited outside.

"I was going to invite you for a horse ride" Prince started as both started to get down from the palace premise to enter the garden "And then I thought that a walk might be a little bit safer!" he continued smiling at her as she was just a step away from him "Is everything all right?" he asked seeing her face to be a bit fallen.
Lifting her head but trying to avoid facing him, she asked the question that was bugging her since the time he asked her out "You often offer women to have romantic walks in the snow at night?" in a way that could have hurt him.
"What?" he asked not getting her this way of asking?
"No! Nothing! It's stupid!" she said getting what she just said.
"Please, talk it out to me!" he said sensing she is disturbed because of him or some other matter and in need to know what she is really thinking and what is her life story, he added "I feel like I've told you everything about myself, and I know hardly anything about you."
Instead of replying to his question, she asked "What would Lady Imli say if she saw both of us walking out here together?" as they moved around the garden filled with snow.
"Why would it matter?" he asked not getting it.
"I saw you two earlier!" she said seeing his face as both walked side by side.
Stopping on his track as she stopped along with him, he turned to face her and said "Whatever you think you saw, there is nothing between her and me!" he said with a serious face, trying his best to enter this info in her entire system.
With a mocking smile on her lips, she put forth her thought "It didn't look that way to me!" as she moved forward from there.
Sighing "She was just trying to rekindle something that isn't there anymore!" he said as he followed her.
And both started to walk once again together "It must be happening to you a lot that women through themselves at your feet!" she said with a bit of hurt mixed in her sarcastic voice.
Smiling at himself "Men too, sometimes!" and turning his face to see her "Well what about you? A woman of your intelligence and beauty must have men throwing themselves at you." he said in a way to know what she was going to say.
"Not so much!" she said with a smile too "My focus on my career at the moment is what interest me!" she simply said.
"Your career of tutor?" he questioned. And as if she got back to the shoes of Miss. Rosella, guilt passed through her eyes as she bent her head with thoughts running everywhere while his eyes were focused on their path "I hope you will come tomorrow night." he added.
Looking at him "Tomorrow night?" she questioned.
"The Christmas Eve Ball!" he said as both stopped facing each other "I will feel a lot less nervous to have you there."
"Suraj!" looking in his eyes as he was already studying her moves "There is something I need to tell you."
Even before she could say another word, something happened.
Something that even the Prince didn't plan.
Something even the lady didn't expect.
Something that made the equation change for good between them.
And that something is that the Prince took a step closer, pulling her to himself by her hand and sealed her lips with his for their first ever kiss in a fraction of second.
Kissing her lips tenderly for what felt like eternity, both moved their face away with their eyes closed, breaking the kiss as their hearts sang the song of Attraction and Love.
