Part 18
R- I m always ready to marry you .
I- not me but the girl of your mother's choice .
Raman smiled a bit thinking his mother plan has worked ,he was thinking that when he heard her again " yeah ,now you should stop coming here and move forward in your life ".
R- and what make you think that I will do that .
I- you should do that ,your mother want you to get married and that's right too .
R- ishita I you know very well ,I don't like repeating myself again and again buy for you I m saying again " I m not going to marry anyone else ,got that ".
I- but you told me that you will not force me .
R- even I m not doing that now also ,its you who are pushing me for marriage .
I- yes because ,I m fed up of listening to the taunts of society ,Everybody ask my parents why my boss is doing so much for me ,why he stay till late in my house ,why my baby call him papa .
R- haan to bol de we are in relationship .
I- no I will not ,because we are not in same ,I m still subbu's wife hadn't got divorce yet ,rather my divorce got postponed to next month moreover we are two entire different people who are not compatible ,your mother too was asking and I don't have any answer .so it will be better that you should get married leaving me and ruhi .
R- ohh to ma is problem ,let me talk and answer her .
Saying so he took out his phone ,ishita immediately snatched the phone and spoke " what you will ask to her ,she told what is true .why she will accept a divorcee ,mother of a baby ,woman for her good looking ,well educated, successful son ."
R- you know ishita you are giving unnecessary excuses and also creating unnecessary fuss,see I know my mother and also know how to convince her .so don't bring my mother in between . You know what your excuses are sounding like we had some illegitimate relationship which we are hiding from society and they are taunting you . yaar not only once but I m ready to tell as many as time you want ,I love you and wanna marry you . what's wrong in it ,bolo .
I- you are not understanding I m not suitable for you .
R- that I will decide not you ..
I- but aunty ji want to ...
R- she is my mother ,I will make her understand .
I- but ...
R- no but, just tell me other reason for your denial rather that your status and my mothers wish .
Ishita turned to other side closed her eyes while the tears which she was holding in her eyes till now fell from them ,she wiped them and then spoke
composing herself " humm ,I don't love you ".
R- (angrily)- ohh is it so ,then look into my eyes and tell that you don't love me .
Ishita was looking down for much time as if composing herself then spoke looking at him " no I don't love you and will not love you ever ,it will be better that you go away from us and marry some nice girl ".
Raman was shocked listening to her ,he very well knows that may be she is not saying but she loves him and will accept his love someday .But listening to her straight denial he broke ,he anyhow composed himself and asked
" and rooh.how you will take care of her ."
I- she is small ,will cry ,miss you for some days but I will manage .I will always be thankful to you for all my life ,for saving ruhi's life and doing so much to her but you have done much for us ,now its time to focus on your life . go and live a happy life .
R- ishita you are denying me straight for not coming to your house .
I- you are smart enough to understand that.
Saying so she turned to other side as she cannot control her tears more while Raman almost ran from there ,he settled in his car and drove towards his house while ishita couldn't control herself ,she threw herself in bed and broke into tears .
Soon Raman reached his house ,he entered the house and went directly to his room, Toshiji saw this and got surprised thinking how come Raman returned so soon as he has gone a hour ago ,was about to visit ishitas house first then had to go to office.
She made a nice tea for him and went to his room , where she saw him standing near the window ,toshiji kept the tea on table and went to him .
She asked standing beside him " did she agree ".
R- no , I m agreeing for the marriage .
T- that I know ,that you were impatiently waiting for your and ishita marriage.
R- no ma ,not me and ishita but me and the girl whom you will choose for me .
T(shockingly)- kya .
R- yes ma ,I m ready for marrying the girl of your choice.
Raman spoke with tearful eyes making Toshiji shocked .She walked to him and asked " what are you saying puttar ".
R- yes ma , I had tried so much but she don't love me ,till now I was thinking , arey sochna kya ,I was sure that she love me but today she denied ,looking into my eyes .
T- what .
R- yes ma she don't love me ,rather she told me to stay away from them.how selfish she is .
T- actually she is very selfish ,how can she even say you like this ,you did so much for her and her daughter ,but what you got in return .These middle class people are like this ,you don't worry I will choose much better,much beautiful and fresh girl for you .Do you remember you childhood friend ,Priti.
R- I don't remember anyone ,you choose the girl ,I m ready .
Saying so he was going then come back and spoke " ma will you please talk to ishita and convince her ."
T- main ?
R- haan ma you told that it was your trick to make her understand and accept my love but it backfired .you go and make her understand .
Toshiji thought for sometimes and spoke " ok as you say ,I will talk to her for you ".
Raman got happy ,then talked sometimes to his mother about ishru and then left for office . On the other hand ishita was crying bitterly ,hiding herself in the pillow . Amma saw Raman going out from the house without meeting ruhi and went to ishita to ask the matter. She entered the room and saw Ishita crying ,she walked to her and asked " ishu what happened why did Raman went like this ,he don't even played with ruhi ,was not looking happy too ,had you said something to him ".
Ishita didn't said anything and remained in same position ,amma caressed her hair and asked " ishita what happened kanna why are you crying ,what happened between you two .tell na kanna ".
Ishita got up and cried again hugging her amma while amma kept ruhi in bed and asked ,scooping ishitas face in her palm " ishu tell me what happened ".
I- amma I send him away from us ,now he will not come to us ,to support me ,to play with ruhi .I became all alone amma ,I became all alone . main unhe khud se door kar diya amma .
Amma was shocked listeming to her ,the thing that she is crying for Raman as well as she has chased him ,both were equally shocking for her. Though all feel that ishita too had feelings for Raman but till now she had never shown it ,but today she was crying for him.Amma caressed her cheek and asked " what happened ishu , everything was ok till yesterday ,what happened suddenly ".
Ishita then told everything to amma , she felt sad listening to her . Amma felt herself so much stuck and help less that she was not able to do anything for her daughter ,she saw ishita who was still crying and spoke " but at least you should have confessed your love to Raman".
I- how can I ,if I would have told him then he wouldn't had gone rather he would had fought with his mother .
A- I agree but at least he wouldn't had heart break .
I- but may be because of me he would had lost his parents ,which I would never liked .
A- now what you will do ,how you will make ruhi understand ,she is thinking that Raman is around that's why she is silent ,how you will pacify once she will start searching for him .
I- don't know amma ,I know just one thing that murugan has not written happiness and companionship in my fate .
A- why are you saying like this ishu .
I- then what should I say , when I think that now my life will be happy then a new storm arrives in my life .
She was going on crying . After sometimes ruhi too start crying searching Raman in all the rooms ,she went to ishita and asked " mumumm papa ,loom nai "(papa is not in room ).
Ishita hugged her tight and cried ,she make ruhi have her milk anyhow and made her sleep . She too closed her eyes and slept in sitting position getting exhausted .
On the other hand Raman was looking at ishru pics in his laptop ,he was recalling all their moments and crying . He picked his phone thinking to call Ishita then kept it back ,thinking this time he will not call but she has to call him .
Ishita was still sleeping when amma woke her saying Toshiji has come to meet her . Ishita went to meet toshiji, she saw ishita and spoke giving some bundle of notes to her " thank you so much for making my son understand , these are some money ,you may need this till you get new job ".
Ishita closed her eyes ,some tears rolled from them ,she wiped them and spoke " I had done your work ,ab aap khusi khusi apne bete ki shaadi kijiye and I don't need these money ,rather I will try to return those money also which Raman has spend in ruhi's treatment ."
T- no need to do that ,you have gone from his life that's enough ,hope you will not try to come back in his life by your emotional blackmail .
I- you don't worry ,I will never do that .
Toshiji turned and smirked " ise kahte hai ek teer se do nishan ,I had thrown this girl from Raman's life without being rude to him . Now she and her daughter us not in my sons life ,ab main apne bete ki shaadi dhoom dhaam se apni friend ki beti preeti se karoongi ."
Thinking so Toshiji left from there while ishita crushed on floor with the thought that she lost Raman for always .
