Being 30

I was just wondering about the constant harping everyone does about Diya's age.

The comments by her father, Ratan and Sakshi bai sa made me wonder which age all these people live in.

I understand social concern about age in case of marriage, especially when they come from a conservative place like Diya.

But comments go on about her (supposedly) looking really old because she is, wait for it (Yes, I am a Barney Stinson fan too😃), 30 year old.

Diya says 30 is new 20s. And Ratan says only in England. For a guy who is in his 20s and who has lived almost all his life in London, he is a bit archaic in his thoughts.

Women look their best in 30s. This is the time they grow out of puberty phase, and gain confidence to carry themselves.

Even in terms of work and education and career, they achieve some milestone and all these add to how they appear.

And it does not help the matter that they chose a beautiful actress like Tejaswi for this role.

Sometime i feel this serial make 30 year age as some kind of abuse😕
every tom dick and harry is taunting diya for her being unmarried 30 year girl.

I am a legendary fan of Barney Stinson. Oh my my. But you would ask how I am a legendary fan ? because Neil Patric Harris and I share same birthday date.
Whenever I see Barney's name the only thing which comes across my mind is Robin and Barney didn't end up together😭 (I didn't watch the alternative ending because still the last episode haunts me)
