Your favorite fabric for Patiala suit

Hi just wondering what everyone's favorite fabric is for salwar suits? its cold at the moment so i like Velvet suits the best. My favorite kind are silk satin patiala, they look glamorous especially in subtle colors, and feel luxurious. i dont see other girls wearing them much. does anyone else like this style?
