CHAPTER 4: I AM HER HUSBAND

"Shivaay, call the doctor, now, please Om was worried. She was not opening her eyes. He tried to rub her hands and legs, but there was no response in her body. He started panicking now, it has been 2 hours and she was not opening her eyes.

"What has happened to her doctor? Om asked the doctor. "Mr Oberoi, she has fainted due to weakness. It is a possibility that she has not taken anything from the past 18 hours. Her body is tired of working continuously. It may be a possibility that she has not rested properly since a long time the doctors informed Om.

"What happened doctor? How is Gauri sister? Dandi asked as he came running. "You call her sister and you are not able to even take care of her properly? You know that she has not taken anything for 18 hours Om almost barked at Dandi. "Excuse me, she is my sister and I know how to take care of her. And anyways who are you to ask about her Dandi was confused, yet angry. Who the hell is this man? How could he question his love for his sister?

"Shut up mister. You are taking to her husband Omkara spoke not knowing what he uttered. "Husband? dandi questioned. Oh no, what has he uttered and how? He never regarded her as his wife. She was nothing but a cheater to her. So what happened now, why did his heart broke seeing her in such a position. He looked at her, and then sighing he said "yes I am Omkara Singh Oberoi, Gauri's husband.

Dandi lost his cool now. He saw the man in front of his eyes, the man who was responsible who was responsible of her sister loosing herself. But then he had promised Gauri that he would not loose his cool, if any day he met him. "Listen mister, I am taking my sister home. I am capable of talking care of her Dandi said ignoring Omkara.

"What? No. I am not letting this happen. I have seen how well she is at your home'. I am not letting her go anywhere Omkara argued. He is not letting her go anywhere. She is not well, and he is not going to take the risk of her life now.

Dandi knew that he is not going to listen to anyone now. Though he didn't want to leave her alone here, but there was a concern in his eyes. "Okay, but then we need to do something, because I know that she will never stay here and will move as soon as she gets up because it is your house. Om felt sad, the Gauri who would die to stay with him, was now will not even stay here because it's his house.

"Okay then I am signing Gauri for the launch of our new product and its promotions. Make the papers ready Omkara said Dandi and he went to make them. He went into the room and sat beside Gauri. He was really confused; he did not knew what was going in his mind.

"How dare you Omkara? How dare you bring her here? Agar mujhe pata hota ki yeh Gauri hai, I would have never brought this b**ch here Swetlana almost roared at Omkara. "Mind your tongue Swetlana. You are talking about my wife Omkara shouted. "Wife?? Swetlana laughed. "Come on omkara, you left her with Kali Thakur and thanks to him that I know everything, everything about your marriage, that she was chulbul and that you dragged her out of your life. "But she is back, Swetlana. My wife is back, and I don't think you can marry me now. I am already married and I think you remember the prenup agreement... Everything belongs to my wife after marriage and she is my wife Omkara smirked. "I will see you both saying this a fuming Swetana walked out of the room.

"No, please don't leave me Omkaraji. I cannot live without you. Main aapko dhokha nahi dena chahti thi. Mujhe chodke mat jaiye, aapke alawa mere paas koi nahi hai she was screaming, like anything. "Gauri, Gauri, utho, look I am here, kahi n ahi jaa raha hun mai tume chod ke. Mai yahi hun tumhare saath humesha Omkara said hugging her. "Sach mein aap yahi hain humare paas humesha she hugged him back. "Mai hoon yahi tumhare saath humesha Omkara assured her.

She suddenly jerked his hand "How you dare to touch me. You are no one to me Mr Oberoi. "Gauri listen to me. "I am leaving now. I can't stay in this place. It's your house. Dandi was correct, she was not ready to stay here foe even a minute now but he is Omkara Singh Oberoi and he will do what he wants to.

"You can't leave Gauri. You have signed a contract with my company and till it is finished, I cannot afford to risk your health. "And when did you do that? Gauri asked angrily. "Well I signed it when Swetlana told me that she has signed you for the function, I asked Dandi about that and he did it Om said shrugging. "I can't stay here. I can take care of my health. "Haan voh toh dekha maine. Look I can't risk my money and obviously I have invested a lot in signing you. He knew how stubborn this girl was and he had to do something to stop her here.

"Okay then, but I have my terms. "Okay so what are they? Omkara asked confusingly. "You will stay away from me; you will not stop me from doing anything and never question me in anything I do. Omkara had to agree to it "okay I agree he said sighing.

"Areey Risha yahan hai aur mujhe kisi ne bataya nahi Rudi entered. "Hello I am Rudra, you can call me Rudy. "Oh hello Rudy, this is Gauri, Gauri Kumari Sharma Gauri said greeting him. "Gauri? You are Risha right?. "Yes I am Risha and I am Gauri too. "Oh you seem interesting huh? Rudra asked smirking. "Oh yes I am Gauri answered happily.

"Rudra Om was looking at Rudra with a murderous rage. "Offo, O she is too cute, can we be friends Ms Risha urf Ms Gauri? "I don't make friends Gauri said looking at Om. "Okay no problem, but remember we all are here for you Anika joined Rudy. "I am Anika, Shivaay's... "Ex-wife Shivaay stromed in.

Gauri was confused about what is happening in the family, but could not think of anything other than how to get rid of that stupid contract. "So tell us Gauri what do you like eating the most. Shivaay bhaiya could prepare anything. "She loves paani-puri Omkara replied. "Oh, then I bring that for you Annika said happily. "No, I don't eat pani-puri. I don't like it Gauri said. "Huh... But you used to love it Omkara was confused. "Used to but now I hate it... " Gauri replied back.

Omkara was almost shocked to hear that... Little did he know that there were many shocks to come.
