Daadi takes the phrase respect your elders and applies her own sweet definition to it. Her character is one of the worst hypocrites ever written. I am not sure if the creatives meant it to be that way. But she has her myopic view that grates one's nerves.

It is awesome to see Gauri on fire, better still to see Om supporting her subtly. Your spouse does not have to fight for you when you are capable of fighting for yourself. All that is needed is the trust and support. Gauri is lucky that way. Not expecting any recommendations from her husband for her business success shows how comfortable and confident she is of her abilities. Tej could learn something from her😉

Om's silence and his unease at confrontations, I can empathize with. He is used to the partiality, having grown up with it and it is his nature is not to expect anything different. It was heartening to see him understand Gauri's PoV and support her. The fact that he did not expect Gauri to apologize because she said the truth, however bitter it was shows his fairness. I always am surprised at the subtle characteristics you bring to Om in your stories. They make reading a pleasure.

The make up session was very cute and real. Arranged marriage seems to have done wonders to both Gauri and Om. 😳

Good one about the Tej's new business and his feeling of not being given enough credit for his part in the making of Oberoi empire. It is normal for a successful businessman to expect that his heirs follow his footsteps. His disappointment in his children, though unreasonable, given their own likes and dislikes is not unexpected.
