The journey that piqued my interest

The only player that piqued my interest this season was Puneesh since the mirchi Bhusa task when vikas hit him, conspired against him and tried to turn Luv against puneesh. I was blown over by Puneeshs tactful ways, the variety of content (albeit cringeworthy at times) and his calmness despite people assassinating his character (including comments on wealth, clothes, education, class, wife, divorce and even kids).

The first shock came when not just BB but even Salman ignored to even mention the violence. Since, then I realised the show is scripted or edited in favor of vikas leading to my growing hatred for masterblind Vikas and my keen observation of the strange ways of Mr Puneesh.

He fought Hina singlehandedly in Khulja simsim (although many would say it was crass forgetting how bad Hina herself went ) in week3, he was quick to realise his dropping popularity in house and thereafter began to promote Bandgi (be it for captaincy against Luv or tasks), he was swift to grab alliance with Vikas in cushion task in week5, and didn't care about his image in order to grab captaincy by doing susu on national TV

Thereafter he started focusing on Bandgi and momentarily got careless with tasks (rocket task) and I realised that he is not really faking his romance but he has actually fell for Bandgi. I doubted Bandgi's intentions but her consistent support to Puneesh removed the doubt. He worked hard to build cordial relations with everybody in the house and quickly regained trust and alliances in Dino park by fooling both Luv as well as Vikas. Result : Bandgi was captain in week 8, Puneesh was saved by Bandgi and given another lifeline. The biggest mistake that Puneesh did was not supporting Akash, not only it harmed his reputation and gave him the tag of backstabber but also paved the way for Bandgi getting evicted eventually. Puneesh also earned an enemy in the form of Aakash but this in turn laid foundation for his lasting friendship with Shilpa.

After The open nominations of week9, it was very evident how Hina and her gang despised Puneesh when 5 people In a row nominated Puneesh and Bandgi and finally bandgi was evicted. The puneesh bandgi AV was very emotional and confirmed that the affection this duo had was not fake, however puneesh was still underrated and mocked and bashed

Post Bandgi's eviction, puneesh very smartly balanced friendship with Shilpa, Akash and Vikas. This friendship helped him in escaping nominations in week10(fake nominations where Shilpa saved him), week11(where he got favor returned by Arshi albeit half heartedly-puneesh made Arshi captain by playing the pram task smartly unlike dumbo like Priyank)

Once Hiten got nominated, we saw a different funny side to Puneesh (especially where he gave memorable terms like hongkong, crab, Shimla, bheja fry, lady finger). Overconfident Arshi got evicted and like always Puneesh began his preparation for another week in the house..

Puneesh never took any task or nominations for granted and it helped him in escaping nominations indore task as well as ranking task in week 13-14 respectively. Hina lost both her supporters Priyank and Luv whrrras puneesh sailed thro without sweating. He finally faced his third real nominations against Akash and got saved by fans who now started liking him for his attitude, one liners and smartness


I think the forum is totally biased when they fail to acknowledge vikas ji manipulation, hina Ji ki detestable over aggression and SHILPA ji ki greatness syndrome. IMO a lot of fans ( though not on this forum) have finally noticed this smart underrated extremely hard working intelligent player of season 11, who against all odds and despite all the hatred from outsiders as well as insiders has managed to reach the final 4 and showed how a persons perseverance can take him to places

puneesh is brilliant survivor, by hook or crook he wanted to survive and today he is living the moment (he will comfortably walk with the money bag)

i used to vote for him after my favourites

I am very satisfied. I invested emotionally and mentally In an underdog and he didn't disappoint me. He played well and kept me entertained for the entire duration of the show. I am happy that I didn't have to bear a bigg boss without Puneeshs subtle presence. Between scenes where a screaming Hina, a cooking Shilpa and a manipulating Vikas would dominate the whole episode, I would be happy to see small master strokes and one-liners by the real master player Puneesh. The only contestant who never really bragged about his efforts but silently went about playing. Taking one small step at a time

To some extent,I agree that he is a survivor but I'd rather be a loser by playing fair,keeping my self respect intact than be a winner with no morals..

Well to each his own. I did find a lot of things done and said by vikas hina and Shilpa not just repulsive but outrightly loathsome. Yet I understand when fans go crazy for them. I don't keep any moral scale for measuring which contestant was ethical and which was one was a crook. They have all played, they have all ditched and they have all broken each other's hearts. So morality and compassion can't be yardstick alone for assigning a greatness number. But then as I said, to each his own

I don't know if anybody else will agree with me but I feel like Puneesh and Akash's team was like Ashutosh and Raja's team from season 2. I read somewhere that Ashutosh's plan was to form an alliance with one person and stay loyal to that person only. Baki sabke saath game khelo. Puneesh did the same, except he did go against Akash a bit. But for the most part, two guys who weren't big celebs got this far only by playing the game and staying loyal to each other. And in the end, the smarter one went ahead while the dramatic won was left behind. In both cases.

I have my own favourite but my scale of moral don't change according to that..

lol I am closet lover of puneesh, I am totally latu over him after seeing him in blue shirt. He is that lucha type of guy, he knows his strength and he uses it. Either you look down on him or love him. I am Shilpa fan but puneesh totally using her and she doesn't have a clue. People used to say Bandgi used puneesh nope it was other way around. The boy is just waiting for bb to announce who wants the bag money he will be first one to push that buzzer. Love you puneesh

He played well first behind Bandagi but once she left I started liking him.

Oh plz, even Shilpa is using him. The funny part is that they both know that they are using each other. But the alternatives like Vikas and Hina are worse, and the 2 get along like house on fire with similar maturity levels and wickedness quotient
