It was midnight, whole bhalla house was in silence when Raman came inside the mansion with trembling feet. Though he rarely drink but today he badly want few drinks to bear the pain he was going through. Yes he was in acute pain, because he couldn't get the only thing he desired .he look around and said -saare so gaye, kisi ko meri fikar, of course who will care about me.everybody has their special one to care about. Ek ladki mili, usse shaadi ki, yeh socha shayad aa akela nahi rahunga but no, loneliness is my destiny. Tabhi toh dekho naa, Mujhe biwi bhi pagal mili hai. It's confirmed now, u r destined to be alone Raman. U r destined to be alone. He said while tears made way down his cheek.
He wiped his tears and said -but I will not cry, main rounga nahi balki sabko rulaunga, koi mujhe takleef de Isse pehle main sabko takleef dunga, bahut takleef dunga. He said to himself and was going up when he got banged with the vase breaking it into pieces.
Ishita who was still awake waiting for Raman, got up hearing the noise and said -lagta hai mere Raman aa gaye. She said happily and ran out to check. She saw Raman walking on stairs with trembling feet. She got happy seeing him and said -mere Raman aa gaye, mere Raman ka gaye. Ab mujhse pyaar karenge. She said happily but stopped seeing him trembling.
Ishita -yeh itna hil kyun rahe hai, mere Raman ko chot lagi hai kya. Haan mama ne bataya tha, jisko chot lagti hai, woh chal nahi paata. She thought and went running to hold him before he fall down. She hold him tightly and start taking him to his room. Raman look at her and said -tum kaun ho??
Ishita -main, aapki ishita. Aap mere Raman ho naa.
He got angry recognising her and pinned her to the wall while she looked at him all scared.
Raman-why u came here, I don't want to see u,he said angrily while ishita was just looking at her all scared.
Raman -mujhe tumhari shakal se naf, nafra, he couldn't complete and hug her tight settling his head on her shoulder while she cried not able to bear his weight.
Ishita tried to make him stand but he was go on falling again and again. She got scared and said -raman, mere Raman, kuch boliye. She said only to get no response from him.
She got more scared and said -mere Raman, aap mar gaye kya. She said when he hold her tightly and said rubbing his lips on her shoulder-why this always happens to me, don't I deserve any love. Bolo, mujhe bhi pyaar ko zarurat hai, but main sirf sabki zarurat hoon, kisi ka pyaar nahi. He was saying hanging on her while she closed her eyes feeling something weird which she never felt before.
After sometime he stop rubbinh his lips, she look at him only to see him sleeping. She hold him tightly and took him to his room.
With great difficulty she took him to bed but in process of laying him on the bed, she lost control and both fell on the bed. She tried to get up but he was holding her tightly in his arms. She struggled to get up for sometime but then she got tired and she too slept there only. Raman pulled over duvet them and slept hiding his face in her front. Ishita too started in her sleep but later slept feeling his warmth. Both had a peaceful sleep after a long time.
Next morning, Raman opened his eyes feeling weight on his chest. He got up a little and was stunned to see ishita there. He got up in a jerk and was about to wake her up to but stopped seeing her innocent face. She was feeling like a baby, her whole face was warm and pink due to hiding in his chest while her messy hair was all over her face making her look more cute .few strands of hair was on her face disturbing his view, he bend to tuck those strands behind her ear but stopped remembering doctor saying she is mad, and then her neighbours laughing on him saying how her relative make him fool. He got angry remembering that and shouted -simmi, simmi.
Simmi and param were waiting for breakfast, she look at param thinking what went wrong when Raman shouted her name again. She ran to his room, laajo and many helps too ran to his room, while ishita got up hearing his voice. She was standing in a corner all scared while Raman was glaring her.
Simmi came in and said -what happened, bhai.
Raman -tum batao, I told u to take her out from here, then what she is doing here. Mere kamre mein kaise aayi yeh.
Simmi look at ishita and said -tu, tu yahan kaise aa gayi, pagal kahin ki. Bhaag yahan se, bhai aap jao, I will see her. Saying so she was about to slap ishita, she hide her face in fear and start crying when Raman said -simmi, maar kyun rahi hai.
Simmi look at him and said -arey, just now u were so angry and now stopping me. Aise pagal aise nahi maante, they want such treatment only. Saying so she again raised her hand to slap ishita when Raman said -tu jaa yahan se.
Simmi made a face and said -ok bhai.
Raman look at ishita, she was standing in a corner and crying. Raman couldn't stop and walked to her. He reluctantly touch her hair and said-ro mat, koi tujhe nahi marega.
Ishita looked at him with moist eyes while he just closed his eyes to confirm. She came closer and hugged him tight scared of all. She was go on hiding more into him while he was just looking at her, he slowly took his hands to her not able to see her crying but stopped seeing the help standing there. They were looking at Ishra smiling in admiration but Raman felt they r also making fun of his foolishness.thinking so he shrugged ishita and said pushing her -laajo chachi, isse yahan se le jaaiye. I don't want to see her face. He said and went to washroom while ishita made a baby face with his push and started crying even louder.
Laajo and other helps took her to the next room and laajo start trying to make her stop.
Ishita -mere Raman ke aisa kyun kaha,aisa kyun kiya. Mujhe push kiya, mujhe chot lag jaati toh. Woh toh mujhse pyaar karte hai naa toh daante kyun hai.
Laajo caressed her hair and said -haan, Raman sir is changing slowly for u. He is concern for u, dekha naa he scolded simmi ma'am for u.dekhna very soon he will love u alot. She said consoling ishita while ishita got happy hearing this.
On the other side, Raman was in his shower and was lost in thoughts-kya ho raha hai mujhe,why I am not able to hate her even after trying hard. Kyun uske aansu mujh par itna asar daal rahe hai, what is happening to me. He said frustrated only to get no answer.
Soon he went out and got ready, he went to have breakfast while everything was as normal as before. All were sitting waiting for him to start while his eyes were looking for ishita. He thought to ask but then shrug the thought and start eating. All start eating after him, all had breakfast in silence and soon he got up to go for office. He walked few steps then turned and said looking at the helps-usse khana khila kar ready kar dena. Jab tak uske mama-mami naa aaye, I don't want anyone to trouble her. He said looking at simmi and start walking again. He walked to the big mirror and looked at himself. He smirked at himself in proud and was going out when he saw her reflection in the mirror waving bye to him. A smile crept in his face unknown to him and he turned to see her, but she ran inside before he can turn.he waited for sometime and then finally went.
Laajo took food for ishita and went to her. She was not eating as she was angry on raman, that he went without feeding her but laajo make her understand and feed her.
Slowly time start passing, ten days passed but nothing changed between Ishra. Ishita bonded well with the helps, simmi and param too were behaving well with ishita, as they have their selfish motives.everything was fine, ishita was still hoping on raman to come to her and shower his love on her while Raman was in his angry mode. He was maintaining distance from ishita and was pouring his anger on her whenever she came infront of him. Though he feel bad whenever she cries but still he wasn't ready to accept that he has some feelings for him.
On the other hand, slowly ishita started getting affected by his indifference and hatred. She start talking less and always remain silent. She stop going to his room also scared of his anger, even stop going infront of him. The only time she came out is the time when Raman went to office ,she came and wave him bye everyday, he everyday saw her reflection in the mirror and she went inside before he can turn. Though she has distanced herself from him but her wait for raman and his love was still there, everyday, everytime she just think about him and wait for him to come and love her in every possible way.
One night, simmi was out with her friends while Raman was also gone for a party, helps served food for param and he send everyone out of the mansion after that. He had his food in a jiffy and went to ishita with a plate full of food.
Param-aaj ghar par naa simmi hai, aur naa hi koi aur, today I will have her in my dessert. Thinking so he went inside only to see ishita sitting silently on the bed looking at nowhere.
