What's going to remain of the movie when it'll ended up being butchered. Maybe if they had put less money in it, they could have kept shelved or released it by another mean...

maybe make film without promoting that it's a real life event that took place (assuming since they say its part of indian history) and release it on strength of star power and good script than rather controversies and promoting real life incident
