It was officially announced that Ash was to play Rajinikanth's lead lady in Shankar's Robot, but it is official now that the former Miss World is no more a part of the project!

For super star fans who were all tipsy over the announcement that their hero would be paired with the woman rated as one of the world's most beautiful women, this turn of events will indeed come as sad news! So what could be behind the twist in the tale? Well, there are two versions.

The first is that Ash Rai Bachchan is pregnant! Could it be that this lovely star has turned down the offer because she is expecting her first child and has hence decided against a project which is scheduled to start only later this year? Until the Bachchans decide to release the pregnancy news, if any, we'll have to wait.

The second version is that Ash was offered a sum less than she desired, so she declined the role in a huff! Yes, it was earlier said that she had been offered a whopping 6 crores for her role and that she had been okay with it. Now the talk is that the actual offer was much less and not astronomical enough for Ash's taste.

No matter which version is true, the definite part about the news is that Ash is indeed out of Robot. So who is Shankar trying to rope in now? Deepika Padukone!

Will Deepika be willing to pick up where Ash left off? Well, that's a whole other story!

Ash is not pregnant.no she's not,and she'll never be until the next 5 yrs or so. Her manager has confirmed that the couple , esp Ash is very bsy for the next two yrs, to hv a child.

Ash is simply not the type to hva child soon aftr marriage.

i am not suprised aish is out of the project as usual.

oh lord.. she's out of the film? i think now the likes of trisha, shreya will be fighting tooth & nail for the lead role now. deepika padukone is not a good actress but who cares about the performance of an actress in a rajini film?😆😆😆

since aishwarya is out of the film. maybe shankar might give a chance to sada. hey.. if shreya & trisha are considered worthy to be rajini's heroines, why not sada? Sada is a better actress than the two of them put together.😛

Ash is as usual acting pricey.. she declined to act opposite Rajini in Padaiyappa, Chandramukhi, and also Sivaji..She will act in some crappy hindi movie or hollywood movie but not a Tamil movie!!! she is not that great an actress that she would reject a movie coz of her role!!! Its just the GREEN baby! Also her whims and fancies!!!

I don't know how directors cast her in heavy roles..So many years in mainstream cinema and she's yet to learn the knack of actually emoting! I recently rented "Provoked" and was very disappointed in her portrayal of Kiranjit. The movie itself was awful.. but that's another story!

Anyway, her good looks alone has gotten her this far. To actually turn down a Tamil movie, every single time..she'd better have some good reasons. The news was that, she got a whopping 1.5 cr for Robot. I doubt any Hindi movie (being the multi-starrers that they are these days) would pay a single actress so much, for just one movie. If a Tamil movie is paying her so much, why won't she grab it?

Well.. she's got quite the knack at other things, such as clinching the most eligible bachelor from one of the nation's richest family and so on. I remember Kumudam's Arasu Badhilgal had once compared her to a passenger train - that at every train station, some one gets off and some one else gets back on - to her habit of changing her beau, until she found the rich kid. Now that she has quite some money, what's the big deal - 1.5 cr for Robot is not enough or what??

better they cast some actress who can act now

ash has always been the most ambitious girl(or woman) I've seen. Usually, succesful actresses quit acting soon aftr marriage-Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Laila,Manju Warrier, Simran and the recent Jothika are all examples. Ash's success is far superior comapred to all these, her fame has gone abroad too, I don't know wht's she's aiming? I mean, wht else can she possibl;y ask for? She has money, beauty, fame , health, um..I'm doubtful abt character,.....Makes me wonder if the marriage is real. 😉 🤢

I dont think money should be a prob cause I think Aish is one of the actor who pays a lot of tax in whole Bollywood 😉

But, yeah...she is sucks as actress 😆 Only good for her, directors like SLB choosed her on their big projects and the fact that dhoom 2 was succees, (we know it was cause of Hrithik 😉) n Guru for abhi and Mani, ARR's music 😉
