I am speechless in terms of how brilliant Kaira and Shivin were tonight. Since I really want to appreciate them because they really deserve it so much, so I will make an attempt, though I know it isn't going to be enough.
Naira - Trying Till The End
It applause worthy how she tried till the very end. She attempted to throw a rock, it didn't work well, ended up hitting her a bit causing her to slip into the water, but she got up again. When death is right in front of her eyes, she still had her head straight. Realized that she needed to stop to the water and she did. She clogged that pipe and was able to stop that flow for a while.
Karthik - Following Clues
He moves from the area where Naira is but not before his hands touch the broken tap piece. When Akhilesh gives him Raghav's phone location he dismisses it and isn't fooled knowing that Naira wouldn't give him any wrong information. With the help of a child he manages to reach to Raghav (btw that moment where Karthik smiled and loving kept a hand on that child's face, loved that little show of appreciation). Remembering Raghav's words of jal samadhi, recalling the broken tap and seeing the black marks on both of their hands, he puts and 2 and 2 together and reaches the place.
Karthik - Saving Her
He manages to unlid the manhole, close the water. He picks a vine and it is broken, he looks down for a moment but then step a bit back and picks up and holds on too another good vine. What I loved about this part was Karthik's sensibility. There is no point in jumping without something that can pull you up, simply jumping into the tank may not have been much help. Though as luck would have had it the vine breaks but Karthik uses all the strength he has got to get himself and her to the top.
Kaira Together
That moment, those last few seconds when Karthik held Naira close to his heart. Those few second were just unexplainable peace, glowed on his face.
Shivin - Brilliant
These two have been out of the world in this track. Perfect on point expressions they have always given and gradually even improved more day by day but in the water scenes, I can't even think how hard the tank scene would have been, especially the part where Kaira had to come out. From the segments I had seen a stool being put inside, so I guess maybe Momo was standing on the stool, but that stool didn't seem very high nor very broad, so for him to balance on that thing with Shivi on him. Shivi also must have needed to maintain her balance on Momo, it must have been though for both.
