Batti Gul Meter Chalu: Yami Gautam to pair up with Shahid Kapoor?.

Yami Gautam, who was seen opposite
Hrithik Roshan in Kaabil and Amit Sadh in
Sarkar 3, is all set to work with
Shahid Kapoor. The actress will play the
second female lead in Batti Gul Meter Chalu,
which also stars Shraddha Kapoor. We were
the first to tell you that the social drama,
directed by Shree Narayan Singh, would
have an actress in a special appearance.
Now, sources tell us that Yami has been
approached for that part and will be seen as
a lawyer.
While this will be Shahid's second outing
with Shraddha after Haider, it's the first time
that the actor will share screen space
with Yami. The movie is likely to go on the
floors in the second week of February.
Based around the subject of escalating
electricity bills, the film features Shahid as a
lawyer. The film will be extensively shot in
Haridwar, Rishikesh, Tehri, Mussoorie, and
Nainital. The makers plan to release it on
August 31, 2018.
